First time I heard it, I thought the piece ended with the alarm bells (at 5:20) only to peacefully transition to total calmness and acceptance. Sorry Holst, but this is your best composition.
Saturn is like a peek into the human condition. We lived. We suffered. We persevered. And we lived. And the hope is to be at peace with it all. I hope everyone is doing okay. And if you’re not, that’s okay too. I don’t know you, but just know that this internet stranger loves you. Take care ❤
@@smalin I think the chord suspended over the top of the first ostinato makes the harmonics richer and might give the illusion of an E, but like @LTono-iu9mg I also clearly hear an A like the following repetitions
Shout out to one of my favorite UA-camrs. Been watching you for over a decade
I really love it. This is my favourite -non baroque- classical piece of music. Thanks for making this animation.

Saturn was his favorite movement actually
Great job once more, I'm hearing new relations in these pieces I've listened to so many times.
Holst's favourite movement of his Planets suite.
I don’t blame him! This is a very beautiful movement
Does this remind anyone else of the Sauropods theme in the BBC documentary "Walking with Dinosaurs"?

Loved this one. Are you planning to do all the planets?
I don’t usually make plans, but I’m working on Uranus now, if that's any help.
At 1:57 the second note of the ostinato is different, it should be a purple A like in all the others that come after it. Great job btw
I changed it to match what I heard in the recording.
@@smalin But I can clearly hear a scale there
