I did a test before doing this video.
Here is how you can replace your brake pads and brake discs at your own. I advise you to be assisted by a specialist.

You beat me to it. Although depending on disc brand, there is a a small chamfer on the back side of the disc which helps miss the hub when locating disc in carrier. I replaced few years back with Pagid discs to find they woukdnt pass the hub by a millimetre. They didnt have the small chamfer. A little persuasion with a mallet and they squeezed in. Reported it to Pagid so whether they altered the mold i dont know. Doubt it

never let the brake calliper hang by the brake hose! support it with a cable attached to the strut or something.

In this case the handbrake cable takes quite a bit of the weight and it's only a small calliper which doesn't weigh much so not really a problem.

the screw that holds the disc onto the hub can be a bitch, you need to lube it a couple of times with penetrating oil the day before you do this, and then use some leverage like a breaker bar or something long to break it loose, or you'll screw up the screw and you'll have to drill it out.

Thank you for all the advices, is for the first time when I'm doing it. I don't advise anyone to do this without under the guidance of a mechanic

Thanx for very good video!! I tip might be that you can use a hammer to persuade the piston to retract into the caliper. I tried everything before this last resort. Disconnecting the brake line, varming cooling spray Tools made for retracting the piston. Btw the caliper holder doesn´t nesserily need to be removed for a rotor change.

You need an impact screwdriver for the locating screw.

Care to elaborate? Brakes are kind of important so if you see something wrong it would be good to say what it is.
