I watch A LOT of bed in a box comparisons and reviews. One thing that’s rarely mentioned is how the type of base makes such a difference in how the mattress feels and sleeps. I’ve recently bought a all steel frame base, a split wood slat base(shorter slate that connect to center) and a full wood slat that goes left to right across the whole frame. Same bed, the Original Casper, used on all. The metal base made the bed sleep WAY different than the wood slat bases. It felt stiffer was immediately noticeable. I image the same would happen with a solid base. Something about those wood slats make the mattress feel/sleep way more comfortable.

I'm watching this video while laying on that exact same Dreamcloud mattress. I had narrowed it down to these 2 matrices...but ultimately I purchased the Dreamcloud because of price. I have a king size and have had it for about 5 months now. It's a very nice matrices but the foot of the bed has no edge support (at least on mine). I have a year to decide whether to keep it, but I do believe I'm gonna get the Winkbed luxury firm this summer. Great video by the way.

Do it, seriously. I had a dreamcloud too, and felt the same way. The Winkbed Lux firm is perfect. I liked my dreamcloud but love the winkbed!
