He actually did regret the younglings in legends. After his surgery and being put in the suit. Palpatine sent Vader to the temple and Vader remembers the kids. At the time though he hesitated the dark side whispered “They are orphans without family or friends, there is nothing that can be done for them. They are better off dead.” At the time this gave him resolve but now it just sent a shiver down his spine. Then Vader says this place should never have been built. Like the Jedi shouldn’t have taken their recruits so young. Blaming them for why he had to kill the kids. While it’s true the Jedi child policy they had was wrong. Vader isn’t taking responsibility and blames the Jedi.
I thought ESB would always be my favorite Star Wars movie. But now ROTS is. Anakin is such a complex character. A lot of people didn’t think the prequels were necessary because we already knew Anakin was Darth Vader. I disagree. It is such a fascinating story. Watching Anakin’s downfall was difficult, however it really delivered on showing how he became my favorite villain of all time.
The prequels tell a good story executed horribly. The first two prequels are terrible movies. The third is all we really needed and would have been better with a different director
@@dwoodstwin CGI was great for its time and pushed the technology forward (Grievous and Yoda still look great), acting was fine, even from Hayden (rewatch scenes where mom dies, where Padme reveals her pregnancy, where he looks at the window and chooses, all Mustafar scenes). Dialogue while wooden in places still makes sense for the characters delivering it.
@@user-xx6vy9ri8p your generation has rewritten history on those movies. We get it, you grew up on them. No one else agrees. Not generations before you. Not generations after yiu
Amazing video just awesome. It shows the power of the dark side and the hold it takes on you. Anakin by far my favourite character as he was born from the force itself in my mind there’s no one more powerful than him except his kids, Luke and Leah. Just imagine what would happen if Anakin was still alive and train Luke himself that would’ve been something to watch
Not sure why a dark side user would see any difference in killing adults or children. The younglings were the future of the jedi and could not be allowed to grow up. This is not a stretch of Sith philosophy at all.
Interesting how do you feel about the Jedi kidnapping children or how droids are sentient beings who are enslaved on mass by the organics of the galaxy
To oversimplify Anakin just went to his happy place
Fresh cut sun flowers ahhahah

Not just in legends, he cried on Mustafar in the movie.
The darkside also whispered to palpatine for him to kill his master plagueis while he was drunk and asleep in the novel DARTH PLAGUEIS.
On the title screen I thought anakin was dancing 🤣🤣
This isn't his first time killing younglings, the Tuscan's were among those he slaughtered at the camp.
basically, Anakin Skywalker died with those younglings, Vader killed them all

@@dwoodstwin what was bad exactly?
@@user-xx6vy9ri8p bad cgi for its time, wooden acting, horrible stilted dialogue. You know, the movie.

Hella cool video this gives me a new perspective on the dark side
THEY ARE ORPHANS AND NO MATCH FOR THE YOUNGLING SLAYER 9000
His story is soooo deep
Your comment is sooooo shallow
Is anyone here still remembering Robot chicken 🐔 the Padme and Flower scene lol 😂 with younglings lol 😂.
So, Retney's Holocron and Stupendous Wave switched sides. Now you are the one putting some context in brackets next to the name of the video
Hard to sympathize with vader after his injuries considering the atrocities he committed.
Real💯💯💯.🙏🏽🩸

NNNNNNOOOOOOO
Would the 501st have been able to kill everyone at the temple if Anakin didnt go?
I think they would have gotten a lot of the Jedi but if ani didn't go I'm sure more Jedi would have survived people like librarian
Wait, you mean it wasn't super easy to kill a bunch of kids?? Say it ain't so!
I never bought an anakin figurine because of this, its hard to admire this character

Despite all he’s done he’s at the top of favorite characters for me. Youngling killer and all.
@@jordanrejon5091I think most people feel a little better about those things than murdering children Columbine boy
