I put my little dog in the front basket on my 5star scooter and he is just enough weight to give the front wheel drive traction and pulls so much better it works so well with him in the front I hate riding it without him😊
I am a disabled guy, one handed, issues with balance, bought a regular trike, as I'm too poor to get an electric one and it's awesome. Still it's kinda hard to pedal as it's heavy and grippy - going for trip like 10 kilometers is a bit much (over 6 miles) and that's how far my work is, even though I can enjoy bike lanes for the most of my ride there. I hope to one day be able to afford such trike so I can dump a car for most of my commute, but by car itself was almost as expensive as the better electric trikes, lol. It warms my heart to see you enjoying these trikes. All the best to you two on your retirement!
This is something to consider in a few years. I will be 79 in June and use a step-thru 20" Fat tire bike. My only regret is that e-bikes and scooters were unavailable fifty years ago with the power and battery life. In five to ten years, trikes will likely sell more than e-bikes! My final comment - I love the dog riding at the 7-minute mark.
Hi George, I agree they do seem to be getting much more popular. Tinker seems to enjoy riding along so we ordered a enclosed dog cart to tow behind the e-bike and it has big windows to see out and seem safer as we like taking her with us.
We liked the look of the bikes, but when we watched your videos it sold us. We learned more from you two then I ever have at a bike store. I used to ride a Kowasaki to work and later I purchased a Cannondale bike with all the bells & whistles. Now at 76 I am unable to get my leg over the high bar, so I stood on a box to mount it like a horse, lol. Come the first very small bridge in our community and I didn't have the strength to pedal over it, nor could I get my feet to the ground fast enough so down I went (fortunately, I was only a little bruised but very embarrassed). We live in a Walkable Community in Bonita Springs, Florida where there are wide pedestrian walkways ( & many bridges) that lead to the community center and all over the neighborhood. Even the streets are safe and easy to navigate as the speed limit is 25mph. When I get my trike, I plan on getting a tall flag and a loud horn so my neighbors have warning that I'm approaching and also a brighter light in back/front so I can see any alligators that may be out for a stroll in the evening..
Hello, just watched your episode with the electric trikes. I do have some suggestions for y’all to enjoy more and feel safer. (1) the lower you can comfortably put the seat the lower your center of gravity is and that helps make them more stable. (2) not sure if that model has different speed/assist settings, but it looks like y’all need to set them as slow as they will go. (3) REMEMBER that it is a 3WHEELER and that means they are about as wide as your hands are, if you don’t take wider turns, you will eventually get one of your back tires off the edge of the sidewalk and down you will go! (4) I know when you were filming her go into the grocery store she just got off and went in, I know you were there with the trike, but these electric bikes are now the most stolen item. If the bike is locked up, if there is anything else that can be stole off of them it will be gone as soon as you turn your head. Good luck, stay safe
Now this is something I'd really be interested in. After watching your video, I'm more convinced than ever that you could use it to make deliveries for Door Dash or other companies and put a few bucks in your pocket. Just right for taking myself down to the vape store or to work.
I agree my etrike is a head turner and a conversational topic every time I’m out on it. I meet so many new people who want to now every detail of power, battery, speed, distance and of course the cost $$$.
Everyone needs a electric bike. If they will last for about five years. I ordered a HJM Trike that should arrive within ten days hopefully to replace one that got stolen.
Thanks so much for the opportunity to review the Grandtan E-trike, we are looking forward to a fun summer taking it along with us on our RV Adventures.
😢I ride a 26 inch Schwinn Meridian with a 1000Watt/48 Volt-32 AmpHour Lithium-Ion battery. Its a singke speed. I could NEVER have afforded the price of a "Store-Bought" E-Trike after I got injured. I can, now but I prefer my "Home-Built" Trike. I cant walk very good now, and after 3 years in a VA hospital bed THINKING how much I wanted to get OUT, I put it together. I then trained my Service Dog, Button, to pull me.😂 Later, I MOTORIZED it! We now travel all over town with it. She goes 28-30 mph while Mr. Button averages only 6-10 mph! He LOVES to take ME for rides, too. He begins barking as soon as I say to "suit up". He only stops barking once we get moving. He can go for 15 miles with only a few breaks for water and treats. I have no pedal assist. I pedal when i CAN which is not all the time. I use the trike as my Primary form of transportation, too. Most stores here will allow us to ride inside and shop. My E-Trike saved me (AND BUTTON) from being house-bound and dependent on others for a ride, to a mostly independent, tho' handicapped guy and his Service Dog. It also allowed my good old Service Dog, Button to take me for long rides. He now had a REAL JOB, instead of just getting my socks! Or catching mice. It was like being in prison before I learned how to build my trike. Leonard Button is very happy and content, too. Great video by the way. Thank you. Enjoy your retirement!😂❤
The great thing about that big basket in the back is that you can carry extra batteries for extended rides along with a picnic basket filled with Vino and Marinara or a cute little doggie.
What an awesome video! I just love seeing the both of you out there enjoying life and scooting along on those E-bikes! Technology can be good sometimes, and in this case, it is for sure. Another Segway to this video, would be to show how you can charge those E-bikes off of your solar panels, or your solar generators. Either way, you have the best of both worlds and we can't wait to see more of your adventures. As always, God bless you both and safe travels! Cheers my friends!
Hi Guys, glad to hear you enjoyed the video and we think we will really enjoy our upcoming E-bike Adventures. your idea of charging them with solar will pay off nicely when we're boondocking. Hope you have a great Holiday Season my friend!
Hi Laura, Tinker seems to enjoy the ride and we ordered a dog two wheel cart to tow behind the e-bike and I think she will like that even more. Hope you and Scott have a great Christmas and even better New Year.
Very good. I’ve been looking at these for a while. I’m disabled and can’t ride a two wheeler anymore. I rode a cheap ebike for a while until I crashed and broke my arm. Cheap ones are not the best option. These AddMotor bikes have some sticker shock, but they’re worth it. The features that cause the price are important for safety and comfort and reliability. I just wish that they could get certified as “durable medical devices” so Medicare would pay for it. My Hoveround is about the same price but useless outside, where I need it. I wish they could do a rear drive, but that would add cost; but the torque steer on the front drive hub looks odd. Trikes take a different approach to riding because of the swaying with the terrain. Once you get that down, it’s all good!! I put an old handicap parking tag on my last ebike and that seemed to help keep me from getting hassled. A safety flag is sure worth it too!! I have a blaze orange flag on my outdoor scooter
Hi Rob, the two e-bikes are the only ones we have ridden the ADDMOTOR looks fairly normal to us even with the Front Hub Motor, although I can see an advantage of having the motor on the back axle pushing instead of pulling. All I can say is we really enjoy it and it rides as good as we could hope for and is built rock solid from all we have experienced so far. Adding that blaze orange safety flag seems like a good idea, we have one on our doggie card that I pull and I like it.
great vid ive been looking at an etrike because i want something for winter to ride in the snow ive ridden my regular one before and it was an nightmare felt like i was walking a bumpy tightrope i took a few spills over the season none serious but certainty nerve racking
Great video! Thanks for that. A Grandtan was ordered for me for Christmas, and being 82 and still riding a two-wheel E-bike with some serious balance issues, I'm really looking forward to it. The only problem for me has been, how do I transport it. Then I watched your video and saw at the end that you have a platform just built for a heavy trike! Exactly what I am looking for! Can you tell me the name of it, and where I can go to buy it online? Really appreciate hearing from you about that, and keep the great videos coming! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
emojobike.com/collections/accessaries/products/hitch-rack Hi James, above is the link to the bike rack we purchased. I also found a small company that builds racks for e-trike and e-bikes and I think I would have purchased theirs but I received his email after I had already purchased the one I have. Below is his email if you want to check out his product. Both of the racks are about $625 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THIS IS HIS SHORT REPLY TO MY INQUERIE STATING HE CAN BUILD A solid 2 BIKE HITCH We make a rack that will carry a trike of that weight plus a bike. It was surprising to us that there was a learning curve, but there definitely was (maybe still is LOL). We are really enjoying both the trike and the bike and look forward to taking them with us this summer.
I have a Sun Electric trike that I have had for over two years. I live in Florida and go all over. I love my trike! Please do a video of the carrier you bought for your car. According to the bike shop where I bought my trike you should always have it on Level 1 because it can hurt your knees with no assist.
Hi Judy, we will probably highlight the trike and bike on many of our future videos and the carrier will be a part of that. We are not totally comfortable with the stability of the carrier, but there were not many choices that we could find. So far it has worked perfectly but we have thousand of miles to cover each year so time will tell just how well it holds up.
Very informative video. We still are carrying our road bikes that take up the back of our toad. Unfortunately, we have not ridden them since we went on the road. I think we would use them if we stayed in one location for a longer time. Happy Holidays!
Hi Jim, that is what we kept thinking but we just never took time to ride the bikes much. I am hoping we do better with the electric bikes, but only time will tell. Hope you two are enjoying your RV Adventure and it only gets better in 2023
Hi Hal, we honestly believe that this is most likely the best e-trike out there. It is really a solidly built product and it looks great in our opinion. We plan to put many miles on it as it really seems to be a fun and practical bike.
Howdy Guys, I think we may go to Quartzsite for a couple of days this year to meet up with some friends, thanks for stopping by and saying howdy last year
Hi Jim, I dont understand how the notification works either it appears to be hit or miss for some of the channels I like to watch as well. Gad you finally got a notification. We hope to stop by the campsite sometime in the next few days to visit. Plan to drive down in a day or two and find somewhere to camp for a few days to visit with several friends in the area.
Great review as always. Stay safe. Get a food bell, and a couple of tall flags to be seen better. Also ride with your lights on as people don't pay attention in their vehicles....I would also wear some florescent colors too...safety is important. Slow is good on a trike...it's one reason Gov. Banned the old trike ORV like the Honda trike . Be safe you two!!! Merry Xmas too.
Hi Mike, I dont know what a food bell is? Good suggestions, we had a couple of those gasoline 3-wheelers back in the 80's and yup we all got throwed off a number of times but they sure were fun and luckily none of us got hurt too bad although I know a lot of folks were seriously injured on them. Merry Christmas to you as well!
When our M-340 arrives, we will be able to carry it as well as my fat tire electric 2-wheeler on our Hollywood hitch mounted on out SUV: Hollwood HR1450Z-R / TRK-ADP3 Hitch Bike Rack (with wide fat tire slots purchased or modified by a welder).
Terrific pacing of the video. It's cool to see the excitement from the people you've met over using an electric trike or bike. Your wife mentioned a problem with making turns. You need to lean into the turn, just shift your weight a bit, be sure to take the turns at a slow speed. There are reverse electric trikes that have the two wheels in the front. Those are more stable to use. There are also tilting reverse electric trikes. Sometimes they also go by tadpole electric trikes. Electric Bike Review can bring you up to speed on all the variations, what to look for, to avoid, prices, honest reviews from a person who sustained a knee injury which lead him to get into electric bikes for their peddle assist and full throttle. If you ever need more cargo room try getting a detachable trailer to hitch to the rear frame or rear of a (e) bike. There are all manner of sizes, shapes, configurations, and even partially to fully enclosed (e) bikes & trikes. Those are velomobiles.
Hi Bob and Pearl, that was a great review. Pearl thank you for wearing that good looking shirt in the video. LOL Pearl, you should had gotten the "Pearl" white one and put flames on it. LOL Now you can do videos similar to mine. LOL Do you think if I got one, I could still call my channel Cowboy Biker Adventures? LOL Hope to see you in February in Yuma. We have to go get margaritas in Mexico. Don
Only electric bikes or trikes allowed in national parks are class one (no throttle, pedal assist up tp 20mph). I got a Gazelle NL c8. Class 1 bike with front and rear racks. $2,500 before sales tax. Upright comfortable Dutch bike. Bosch performance line motor. 10 year warrenty on frame, 1 year on electronics. I'm a 5'11" male, got the XL size. Riding it daily helped me lose 51 pounds, 228 to 167. (Maybe cutting back from a 12 pack a day to a 6 pack per weekend also helped😜)

Congratulations Scott on the weight loss. I think most all National parks currently allow electric bikes and trikes pretty much anywhere regular bikes are allowed. The link above describes Yellowstone's e-bike rules
Hi there. I’m in Melbourne Australia I have the same trike rebranded by Vamos, in mat black finish. Mine has a 500w front wheel motor, 35ah battery with 80+ km range per charge and in Australia we have a law, no registration or licence required for a pedal assisted electric bike with a limited setting set to 25km an hour. I’m 57 years old and chose the trike for better balance too. I’ve had it about 10 weeks now and have done close to 200 km total as I’m medically banned from driving a car until hopefully sometime in the future I’ll get clearance. Meanwhile we sold one of our cars and I walk to work just close to home. I trike everywhere else and for longer distance I trike train trike my way to places. It has allowed me to maintain independence. I bought a kiddie bike trailer to cart my littlest grand-kiddies around locally.
Now having the tike for a while now. I’m curious on how it’s holding up? This is the trike that I am considering due to my disability and these trikes are not cheap. I was considering mooncool and lectric but I have started to rethink my decision on these two trikes
Hi Thomas, That sounds great, Congratulations! We just went riding again today and it was a blast, Pearl really is enjoying her Grandtan. It is a lot different than a 2 wheeler but it is the perfect choice for Pearl. I think our discount code is still active so be sure to use the link and enter the NEXTEXIT code if you decide to pull the trigger. Let us know how you like it
Great video! A friend of mine has developed a bad hip. I'm thinking about an electric trike as a possible solution to his difficulty walking. Unfortunately his farm is about a mile down a rough gravel road. Perhaps I can find a shop that would allow me to test drive one.
We bought 2 Lectric ebikes for Xmas and love ours. Can't wait to travel with them this year. Looking for a good bike rack for carrying on back of our RV.
Hi Laurie, it is a lot of fun, we ordered a 2 wheel enclosed bike cart for Tinker to ride along with and that will probably be her favorite ride and maybe a little safer. Look forward to seeing you and Jeff
Glad they switched to rear wheel drive in the new version. Working on getting mine from a local bike dealer, and hopefully I never have to deal with Addmotor directly, as their BBB rating is F
I love the video . The it’s great especially the step three and fat tires. I like that it has a back rest. Where is it available to see or purchase. Not good on a gravel road.😊❤ is it available in Illinois. Is there a weight capacity.admotor 340 grand tan e bike
What kind of rear view mirrors are they? The ones I have are constantly getting loose when you go over a few bumps if you have a link that would be great😊😊😊
I've had an ebike rsince 2020 . Only time I've had a real problem with the jerking start is when I go to get off if my hand slipson the throttle the motor kicks in and the bike jumps. I turn the motor off before i come to a stop to prevent this. Im almost 70 and can use this around town.on main street i ride on the sidewalk.
Nice video. Can you give more information on the cargo carrier? I would like to get something to carry my trike and can’t find anything as nice as yours. Thanks

Just a wonderful review on a popular item! Pearl you're a cool aqua-clad grandma heading to the grocery store on your bike, love it for you! Just like a couple other viewers., we were leaning to the right here watching you on the sidewalk....thinking a tire might slip off the walk. A true sign of RV love for our Quartzsite friends! Merry Christmas from TTO. (You were right, it's a favorite Encore for us too!)
Pearl loves her 3 wheeler so far, we are thinking about taking it to Quartzsite next month for a couple of days and meet up with some of all our Rally friends. We love that Orlando campground, it appears there are a number of folks from last years rally hanging out down there this winter. We hope to make it back one day. Merry Christmas to you two
Now that is a pretty darn good idea, we could probably even save on the gasoline (oh wait, it don't even take gasoline) hopefully I get the back basket and not the front one. LOL hope you and Nancy have a great Holiday Season
Glad you enjoyed the video, by lifting the front wheel on first then picking up the back half it is really pretty easy for an average size healthy person. Maybe 45 or 50 lbs on each lift
Where did you buy the steel carrier to fit on the back of your RV or a truck that holds and transports your E-trike? Do you have a website or address for this carrier?
Here is the link to the one we purchased and you see in the video. emojobike.com/collections/accessaries/products/hitch-rack

Ì ĺove the video, you two are having so much fun 💕 together. I have issues with stability, and I am on medication. I also have issues with my back and a knee replacement. I lost my freedom because I can no longer drive. So, I am looking into getting a tricycle. I am from the Netherlands, originally bicycle 🚲 riding is the main form of transportation there. So I never drove a car until I emigrated 37 years ago. Now I am stuck at home and I don't like it. Thanks for the great video. 👍🏻 I would love to try it out. One question: How big are the tires 20 inch or 24, 26 inch. Also, is it harder to make turns.
The front tire in 24" and the two rear tires are 20" and all are fat tires : 4" wide Glad you enjoyed the video and good luck in finding the right e-trike for you. Pearl really likes this one, it is not hard to turn at all but you do need to make the turns at a reduced speed as it can turn over if you are going too fast but you pretty much can feel how fast is too fast. Other than slowing down for turns it is extremely stable other than rough or uneven ground like the rocks and small ravines Pearl had to drive through in the desert, it is not a mountain or rough terrain vehicle at all.
@Next Exit yeah, I heard you say in the video you were at Yuba, and I was wondering if that was Yuba Lake because we live about 3 hours from there near Ogden. We have been camping there, and it's pure sand pretty much. So I thought that must have been, though. In the Netherlands, the Forrest service keeps all the bike paths in good repair it's hard, solid ground, so even if it rains 🌧 you don't get bogged down in the mud. They are in such good order that when we have ice rain built up, you can skate on them. We had a winter like that in 1978, and our Christmas break was extended because there was at least 10 inches of ice on the roads. Skating ⛸️ was the best way to get around. I would walk the dog, and we had a beagle on a long rope because the Forrest is full of rabbits, so if she picked up a scent, she would just pull me on my skates. I have a few more questions, though. 1. How do you have your trike insured? 2. How well does it do uphill?
I have 2 tadpoles and one delta currently. All tadpoles have electric assist, my terratrike gran tourismo has a bosch evo and my sunseeker fat tad cxs has a cyc photon. My sunseeker delta will in all likelihood have a cyc x1 Stealth gen 3 assist system. Speed and ease of use cost money, how fast and easy do you want to go? I live in Ocala Florida and convert trikes for a hobby should anyone need some help with their conversions.
Hi Tim, we are thinking about going up to "Q" in January for a couple of days and hope to see some of you all there and sitting around the campfire swapping some stories with everyone.
They are much better on level ground, with Front Wheel drive they the front wheel has a tendency to spin out due to low traction. Gravel seems to be fine but dirt woodland paths could be an issue if tree roots or ruts are present. Three wheels and front wheel drive seem to be best for hard level roadways is our experience
After watching you ride on some dirt paths and dusty trails, is there any precautions when cleaning or spraying the e-bike with water to clean it off Folks?
Hi Scott, the electrical connections are all water resistant connectors (they look waterproof) but the manual says not to spray the bike with a hose and use a damp rag to clean. It also recommends not to ride in the rain as the Battery, Motor or Controller could be damaged. In my opinion, I am guessing it would take a fairly strong rain storm to cause damage but hopefully we never get stuck in a rain storm while out riding either the trike or bike. We do plan to ride it quite a bit on the Oregon coast and I am guessing that salt water could be pretty rough on any electric vehicle so will need to be wiped down often with a damp cloth.
Great video, very interested in the carrier you mounted on your RV. Can I get the name of the vendor that sells the cargo carrier? I would like to mount it on my Honda Ridgeline.

Hi Roderick, good advise as 20mph is probably a little fast for most of our riding, although some of the bike lanes we ride on are in 45 mph zones with no actual bike lane marked off, so we are right in traffic and the 20mph feels more comfortable for us as well as the cars that are wanting to get around us so we do ocassionally do 20. Those are not our favorite routes but ocassionally mandatory to get where we want to get to. Thanks for watching and appreciate your suggestion.
Hi James, there is probably nothing that can't be stolen but we put in a locking pin to prevent a thief from taking the rack out of the hitch receiver. amzn.to/3T2kisH

It has been pretty fun traveling around so, far but I have to admit I often notice I am simply riding and not pedaling, which defeats the plan sort of. LOL no surprise I guess.
Hi Troy, sorry to hear you don't like the e-trike, we have met several folks that ride a regular two wheel e-bikes that do not like how the three wheel e-trike rides. I agree it is totally different, but if you can not ride a two wheel bike then the stability of a three wheel e-trike opens up a lot of doors and Pearl really enjoys the e-trike for that reason. Good Luck with selling yours.
I'm 72 and back on road bike and gearing up a mountain bike for rail trails. With a dog trailer. It takes a few months to get fit to bike ..I'll result an ebike till I can no longer do ut. Then I guess I'll do less.
Hi Louise, we usually ride together and I stay with the e-bikes while Pearl goes in shopping, but Yes we do have a lock and chain to lock them up when we leave either the e-bike or e-trike alone as they are expensive and would be very easy to ride off on if someone was intent on stealing it.
Ernie, it is a heavy e-trike but it is built that way so it can handle up to 450lbs load. Hills, Long Distance, Heavy Loads & Stability are handled fairly well with the large motor and battery combination as well as the 3 wheels on the ground. Pearl really does enjoy it and she did not like her regular bicycle at all. The e-trike is not for everyone but for us it is just what we wanted. We do not have a lot of hills close to our home, but we do have some steep ones but not very long and you can see the speed drop several miles per hour while climbing but it still has more power than we need and will maintain 17-18 mph if needed but we normally dont ride that fast anyway.
I put my little dog in the front basket on my 5star scooter and he is just enough weight to give the front wheel drive traction and pulls so much better it works so well with him in the front I hate riding it without him😊
🥰🥰🥰

That’s so cute when Purl was riding it with your little dog in the back!
Very interesting!it would be nice if you could ride it even when it’s raining.
Thanks for watching the video and you make a lot of great points. Thanks we will take your advise
A heavy duty lock that you can insert though the brake disc slot adds extra security.
I use a Kryptonite lock. So far, so good.
@@talon1706I am now looking for a trike do you use cable or chain. I figured I would get about 3 different locks maybe a few alarms.
Does this bike come assembled? I missed the price.
I was thinking her seat should go up just a bit. Her leg should extend at 160 degrees.
Now this is something I'd really be interested in. After watching your
video, I'm more convinced than ever that you could use it to make deliveries for Door Dash or other companies and put a few bucks in your pocket. Just right for taking myself down to the vape store or to work.
I agree my etrike is a head turner and a conversational topic every time I’m out on it. I meet so many new people who want to now every detail of power, battery, speed, distance and of course the cost $$$.
Exactly, it is a pretty cool looking vehicle.
Everyone needs a electric bike. If they will last for about five years. I ordered a HJM Trike that should arrive within ten days hopefully to replace one that got stolen.
Great video! Hope you have an enjoyable riding trip❤❤
Hi Steve, that sounds like a perfect day.
I would like to ride one of those bikes but I will have to wait a little longer..
Love it and a space for Tinker to ride too! Great video, guys! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! xo

Hey Bob Pearl, we bought our bikes and it has given us so much more mobility. Great video keep in rolling
Hi Sandra, thanks for watching and we agree it does add a whole new dimension to our travels.
Great review. Watching your learning curve was very helpful to understand this machine better.
It was surprising to us that there was a learning curve, but there definitely was (maybe still is LOL). We are really enjoying both the trike and the bike and look forward to taking them with us this summer.
Please post the link to the carrier for your trike. THX. Great video!
Thank you, this was so helpful!
Thanks for stopping by and glad you enjoyed the video.
Just stumbled upon this video and was surprised to see this was all filmed in Yuma! Great stuff!
I luv my e bike I'm 60 .the best toy I have bought in yrs...
Hope you two are enjoying your RV Adventure and it only gets better in 2023
Nicely done video. Looks like a fun machine.
Thank you. Was just looking into buying a three wheeler.
Hi Hal, we honestly believe that this is most likely the best e-trike out there. It is really a solidly built product and it looks great in our opinion. We plan to put many miles on it as it really seems to be a fun and practical bike.
I wondered what you were up to! We met you last year in Quartzsite. Glad you are enjoying the trikes. We love our ebikes.
Howdy Guys, I think we may go to Quartzsite for a couple of days this year to meet up with some friends, thanks for stopping by and saying howdy last year
Very thorough review.. Weird that I was only made aware of this video on Jan 20th... Hope to see you guys soon.
@Next Exit lol..sorry big finger texting...I meant good bell to ring when approaching things that need to know you are approaching...😁
Don
Hi Don, I think Pearl feels she is now a "Cowboy Biker" herself and loves wearing your shirt to prove it... Look forward to seeing ya in February
@@JustPassingThru Lol Cowgirl Biker!
@@CowboyBikerAdventures Good Point there Don!

Hi there. I’m in Melbourne Australia
I have the same trike rebranded by Vamos, in mat black finish.
Sounds like you have it figured out, and what a healthy lifestyle. Good on Ya!
Now having the tike for a while now. I’m curious on how it’s holding up? This is the trike that I am considering due to my disability and these trikes are not cheap. I was considering mooncool and lectric but I have started to rethink my decision on these two trikes
Could you please provide link for the trike cargo carrier. Thank you.
Spring is coming, time to ride, about to buy one Grandtan🥰
Add a pole with a flag to make it easier for others to see you coming.
We bought 2 Lectric ebikes for Xmas and love ours. Can't wait to travel with them this year. Looking for a good bike rack for carrying on back of our RV.
We are enjoying our electric bikes as well, hoping the e-trike platform holds up traveling around the country. Only time will tell I suppose.
Thinking about one of these for my wife, but I prefer torque sensor over cadence sensor. I wonder if they are considering making that an option.
Looks like a lot of fun. I love that Tinker can ride as well.
Hi Laurie, it is a lot of fun, we ordered a 2 wheel enclosed bike cart for Tinker to ride along with and that will probably be her favorite ride and maybe a little safer. Look forward to seeing you and Jeff
Merry Christmas and happy New Year Bob and Pearl
Thanks for the holiday wishes and we wish you a great Holiday Season as well. Thanks for watching
Please if you don't mind, where did you get the towing platform for an e-trike? Great video. Thanks for all your hard work
Glad they switched to rear wheel drive in the new version.
Great video! How do you lock it up when out and about?

Merry Christmas to you two
Nice job. Answers a lot of questions

Now that is a pretty darn good idea, we could probably even save on the gasoline (oh wait, it don't even take gasoline) hopefully I get the back basket and not the front one. LOL hope you and Nancy have a great Holiday Season
Hi guys love your segment on the electric trike. I was wondering how heavy and difficult is it to get the trike lifted on platform?
Glad you enjoyed the video, by lifting the front wheel on first then picking up the back half it is really pretty easy for an average size healthy person. Maybe 45 or 50 lbs on each lift
@@JustPassingThru OK thanks you so much for the information on how to lift the trike on platform.

Does the trike have a differential? If not the tires will scrub on curves and wear out real fast. Bald tires in under 500 miles.
Is the rear seat comes in free. And my other question is waterproof all the electrical.
I would love to try it out.
One question: How big are the tires 20 inch or 24, 26 inch.
Also, is it harder to make turns.
The front tire in 24" and the two rear tires are 20" and all are fat tires : 4" wide
Glad you enjoyed the video and good luck in finding the right e-trike for you.
What did you use in the back basket for your pup?
I have 2 tadpoles and one delta currently. All tadpoles have electric assist, my terratrike gran tourismo has a bosch evo and my sunseeker fat tad cxs has a cyc photon. My sunseeker delta will in all likelihood have a cyc x1 Stealth gen 3 assist system. Speed and ease of use cost money, how fast and easy do you want to go?
I live in Ocala Florida and convert trikes for a hobby should anyone need some help with their conversions.
With a little tinkering I reckon it would be fun as a golf buggy. Too bad they are not here in Australia.
I am not sure the e-trike can out run a kangaroo but they are lots of fun if they become available there. Thanks for Watching Aussie Rob
Thanks for the video you two and Merry Christmas. When is your next trip?
Hi Tim, we are thinking about going up to "Q" in January for a couple of days and hope to see some of you all there and sitting around the campfire swapping some stories with everyone.
@@JustPassingThru Sounds good as Rob and I have been here for a little over a month. 😊
How much do these bikes cost being senior citizen with not much money wanting to know how much I have to have to buy a bike like that I really like it
Do these bikes work well on grass. Uneven ground? Gravel? Dirt woodland paths?
HANDLEBARS: Does anyone know the make, model of the handlebars? They look like something I need on my eTrike. Thanks.
Great video, very interested in the carrier you mounted on your RV. Can I get the name of the vendor that sells the cargo carrier? I would like to mount it on my Honda Ridgeline.

Sir if you ever decide to rv with these please let me know how you transport them
is the basket can be modified to put a detachable seat on top?
Congrats! I would recommend reducing the max speed on the motor until you get comfortable because it has powerful torque for new riders.

I've got a question about your Emojo rack. Can you lock it so it won't be stolen?
James
Hi James, there is probably nothing that can't be stolen but we put in a locking pin to prevent a thief from taking the rack out of the hitch receiver.

Hi Lyle, above is the link to the bike rack we purchased.
I also found a small company that builds racks for e-trike and e-bikes and I think I would have purchased theirs but I received his email after I had already purchased the one I have. Below is his email if you want to check out his product. Both of the racks are about $625

THIS IS HIS SHORT REPLY TO MY INQUERIE STATING HE CAN BUILD A solid 2 BIKE HITCH
We make a rack that will carry a trike of that weight plus a bike. You will need a heavy duty version of our rack plus a 2” receiver hitch.

Wow! It is so cool!
It has been pretty fun traveling around so, far but I have to admit I often notice I am simply riding and not pedaling, which defeats the plan sort of. LOL no surprise I guess.
I'd love one.
How long does the battery lasf
"EASY RIDERS" Y'all geaux! Have Fun & Merry Christmas. Cajun
Howdy Cajun, Hope your having a great holiday season and 2023 brings you much enjoyment.
I bought the addmotor M-340 3 months ago and I'm not happy with it, I'm trying to sell it and get the addmotor citypro E-43
Was it charged when you received it?
I'm 72 and back on road bike and gearing up a mountain bike for rail trails. With a dog trailer.
It takes a few months to get fit to bike ..I'll result an ebike till I can no longer do ut. Then I guess I'll do less.
Do you lock it up when you are shopping
Hi Louise, we usually ride together and I stay with the e-bikes while Pearl goes in shopping, but Yes we do have a lock and chain to lock them up when we leave either the e-bike or e-trike alone as they are expensive and would be very easy to ride off on if someone was intent on stealing it.
Cool looking bike.
We agree, really enjoying the etrike
Meh, needs chrome curb feelers and big white wall tires on chrome wheels and fuzzy dice. Lol. Nice video thanks.
LOL, that brings back some old memories. Glad you enjoyed the video
Must be lower to ground. All tires should be smaller and back tires position must be wider axle. After that its become much more safer and easy to ride.
Looks great! How does it handle hills?
@@JustPassingThru thanks, few hills here but they're killers. Also, I'm 6'2" and 250 lbs so I need POWER!
Where did you get the trike carrier?

Hi David, above is the link to the bike rack we purchased.
Do you know the length and width of the carrier???
plese tell me how much is it !!!
How much does it.cost
Great video, one think ebike batteries are not waterproof, protect them against water etc. Happy New Year for 2024 -England.
Do they make a carrier to take two? Thanks
Hi Jesse, no I don't think there is a option for two seats yet but I wouldn't be surprised if that is offered in the future as it is a great idea.
