- To bring the upcoming Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra to life, Skydance and Uncharted creator Amy Henning, are using Nanite, Lumen and super realistic Metahumans in the new Unreal Engine 5.4.
The game features an original story that takes players on a WWII-era adventure with an ensemble of four heroes playable at different points in the game, including Captain America and Black Panther.

i actually like how realistic it is. The realism isn't miss match, the superheroes are just as realistic looking as the world is, and the same goes for their superhero outfits. If they give captain America his green and gold hydra outfit in this game, with these graphics it would look very impressive.

This is easily my most anticipated game right now, it’s gonna focus on great characters and storytelling and i despeatly need a game like that so hopefully they deliver , hope the gameplay is good to.

I played the matrix demo on ps5 and it was highly impressive and the level of detail here is even higher. Im hoping it will be as good as they showcase. We'll be able to see the power in hellblade 2.

Next gen graphics but I haven't seen them innovate on actually gameplay mechanics. These games wanna be movies so bad that they push gameplay to the back seat,it's an after thought.

If you didn't have a $6k gaming rig then you'll get 20fps
I’m convinced having a 6k gaming rig would only get them 30-60 fps.
Game optimisation for pc is 10x more difficult now and companies aren’t bothering to do it and are relying on highend PCs to tank through bad optimisation.

I won't complain about the graphics, as they look outstanding, but they focused on the hyperrealism of the character's faces so much, while doing such a poor job on the character's movements relying way to much on mo-cap, especially on Black Panther's, as he looks like a human with a below average agility like when he jumps between rooftops (0:57) and fights a couple of soldiers throwing a low kick like grandpa (1:13), when this individuals are suposed to have superhuman abilities, such as strength, speed, and agility, which in this trailer looks cringe AF.😮💨
That's fair, I do share the same sentiment about the over-reliance on mo-cap, it does seem a little lazy. Although I don't agree the hyperbolic criticisms like, "below average agility" or "grandpa." Also, please don't say "cringe af." The word "cringe" is cringey in itself.

@@andrewcerberusok I'm saying while the movements could use some work, I wouldn't go so far as to say they look "cringe" or terrible. Less “grandpa,” and more like a normal gymnast rather than a superhero, it reminds of the Spider-Man PS4 trick animations. If they left those animations as they are, it'd work fine for me. Though, the unaltered mo-cap is very evident on the faces in certain scenes; I noticed that their mouths will move at a jarring pace for a second and it's a bit unnerving, so I'd definitely like that to be changed.
@@EyeOhNine012 They are superheroes, normal or athletic doesn't quite cut it, it should be superhuman-level movements and speeds, it should be intense, and normal mo-cap won't ever be enough to achieve that.

If in certain parts of the live-action movies they even make some parts with cgi, to show the real range of his abilities why should they limit the character with mo-cap in the game??? Just a thought.

@@Murdstone12Again not innovative, its the same gameplay loop like uncharted or Arkham Knight just with "new" mechanics added in to spice things up. Although spiderman had some strange story driven decisions. Hopefully this game will have something new and not just something we've seen with a bunch of qte events.

This version of Black Panther looks more puerto rican than African no offence
some Africans look Puerto rican, and some Puerto ricans look African. and since we don't have a whole lot of content on how azzuri the wise looked like when he was young, they can take more liberty with him and it wouldn't be too bad.

the light skin thing does stand out a little lol, but what stands out even more to me is the fact that azzuri looks like he stepped straight out of 2024, like they could've at least made him look like how he did in flags of our fathers.

G A M E P L A Y OVER GRAPHICS PLEASEEE like man I can appreciate some pretty visuals but I feel like it's taking over and basically becoming movies. I mean look at suicide squad that game has some crazy good face animations but the game play is so repetitive

How is that trying to be trendy? I understand there being a lot of poor attempts at injecting characters into stories they don't belong in, but this one is pretty reasonable. Black Panther is a title that was passed down way before the current mcu one. There was a black panther during world War 2, as well as centuries prior.
The games story is based on the flags of our fathers comic that features cap and B.p(azzuri)
