Riding another enduro event and this one had 9 miles of mud & Rain, rocky river beds, tricky sections and Chaos everywhere! Plus, to top it all off, the rain was freezing on the ground. It was the wettest enduro event I've ever ridden.

Ruts are the invention of the devil. On the great Hayfield Byway in Derbyshire there was a trail over a field called Rut City. I managed to get my front wheel in one rut and the back wheel in another. When the ruts diverged it turned the bike sideways and it spat me off just like a high-side. How my loyal friends laughed as I did a face plant into a muddy fox hole. Some people have no problem with ruts and can climb out of them or bounce the bike from one to another. Put me in a rut and I am a prisoner.

i know the feeling. But following some advices, like always look far away , makes things better and a front tire which doesn't' climb sides rut is a win win too ( in between two crashes, of course)

Waterproof jacket if you have one and some warm gloves. That’s about it. You’re going to get wet regardless so just have fun
