Excellent tutorial, best one i've come across for masking - thank you! Would love a tutorial on how to mask with using the selection tool as well (so that when the mask is revealed, it's only within the selection so it's very clean, not so much with free-hand)
I am taking a college course right now on intro to digital and if it weren't for your tutorials I would be completely lost. I call this UA-cam University, and you should be a tenured professor!
Love this tutorial! I keep coming back every 3-6 months as I always forget and this video is easy to spot via thumbnail and straight forward on how to make these adjustments. thx a bunch!
My issue is how to intertwine letters, one of which is a text layer, the other is a vector image, where no mask can be placed on the layer, to make a “g” and an “o” (which is in the layer below appear intertwined...any ideas would be appreciated.
Hey thanks :) I use a Wacom Intuos Pro now as of last week. Previously used a Wacom Intuos 4 that was excellent... until I broke the tablet pen by accident recently :/
ya.i was thinking that too. Prolly like drawing the shape of the broken letter & making a selection and filling it with color instead but i havent tried it yet. just sayin
Hi, me too. A few days ago when I do still can. These two days I keep trying to do it, but the brush does not even work at all already. Don't know why suddenly like this.

Very nice tutorial, very articulate, detailed, and you included a lot of the keystrokes that you use to make it easier and faster.
