If you were my son, I would give you the basement, because, clearly, you have outgrown the upstairs. And also so you could get some of those big tanks you were talking about....
Bigs props on your tanks. It looks like the fish are thriving along with the plants. Could you make another video though on how you perform your water changes? It looks like it would be a pain in the butt!
Say what you want about his stocking tanks and the clutter but he clearly knows what he’s doing because all his tanks look very healthy with plants and all the fish looking happy and breeding! Not to mention all of the fish he has don’t look sick or chewed up! You know when fish are breeding they are as happy as can be! I love these tanks and set ups! Again great video!
wow, what an odd place to find a channel I watch. While i found you ive always wanted to know if youre like one animator dude who likes visualizing talks or if its a team sorta thing
@@isaiahmurray2742 hahaha this is funny to see, nah that channel is one cool dude I grew up with, not sure how much info he wants to share but he’s always been a cool dude for sure
My anxiety is peeking watching this with the precarious positioning and cords everywhere but I love it! People call me crazy for having 7 tanks in my bedroom 😂😂 Spits in the faces of those who carry on about tank size being number one, clearly bigger is better but these fish look pretty dang healthy and happy
It's nice to see different ways and approaches to keeping fish and I'm glad that this man has found his passion. Not everyone has the money or space to set up a big professional fish room like Master Breeder Dean and I like what this guy has done here. I'm sure he has plans or wishes for a bigger space or for better more organized equipment. I believe he'll get there one day, he's full of passion. I loved seeing his pothos and the mudd skippers. I like the discus too. A very unique space done very well. Thanks for sharing.
The scattered nature of this room would peg my OCD meter, but absolutely love the collection! Only having a community tank really prevents me from having breeding pairs, shrimp colonies, and lots of other fish I would like to keep. Maybe some day. Again, love the collection of fish and critters!!
The saltwater shade being thrown 😄 Also Dean should start a channel called Pimp My Fishroom! Channel subscription funded and he picks from viewer submissions.
I love this fish room tour! So real! This is what having a passion looks like when you don’t have the space or budget to dedicate a whole room. I am lucky enough to my have my reptiles and most of my fish tanks in one room but it isn’t the most pretty-it’s a process and I’m sure this space evolves and can’t wait to see the part 2!
Haha yeah it’s 2nd floor, and it’s why I’ve had to turn down a lot of free giant tanks I’ve been offered, but as it is now it’s been standing just fine for years, though I may move to another spot soon, so I’m not sure what will happen then 😂
Zenzo, I really enjoyed seeing you and Dean visiting Phil's fishroom. It was nice to see a hobbyist caring for such a diversity of fish in his room, it really shows the passion he has. I too have my fish room in my bedroom where I live, nothing that fantastic, but I could see it quickly turning into similar 😁. I loved his creativity and all of his aquariums! I truly enjoyed the video, you guys were great!! Thanks for sharing it with us! I hope you all have a blessed day🙏🌿🐟🌿💚
11:01 Dean's story about his abandoned tank having a kuhli loach survive for 14 months with no food or anything was my favorite part of this. He makes it worth going back and watching any old video that he's ever been in. Thanks for the awesome content Zenzo!
This reminds me of my living room awhile back when I had about 10 tanks anywhere I could put them lol there’s nothing wrong with keeping tanks anywhere you can put them!
Who doesn’t love Dean??? Just a guy you wish was your friend!!! So cool so knowledgeable, so interesting and so smart/creative. Nice fish room as well. Very cool!!! Love the mud skippers.
One heck of a fish room. He’s utilizing all the space he can. All he needs to do is work on his cord management and maybe moving some tanks around but it’s working for him & the fish he takes care of look in very good health. 👌
Phil's got some great things going on in that bedroom! Goes to show that the size of the tank doesn't really matter much as long as the system is up and running efficiently!
Cool. Thanks for sharing. With some organization and tips for the dean machine you could totally have a rocking fish bedroom. The wires and sharp corners make me anxious. Also I really like how you saved those goldfish. Usually goldfish get the crummy end of the stick when it comes to the quality of life but I can see the 3 u saved looked happy. Maybe they will play in the pond one day. Keep making videos and I’m checking philthy tanks as a result of this video.
Phil obviously knows his stuff - fish, plants, and other critters all look super healthy - but that room, with tanks balanced on every available surface and cords running everywhere, would seriously make me twitch. One bump in the night, and it'd be game over.
Good to see so many fishes in smaller aquariums... while all other youtubers make me feel bad about keeping fishes in small aquarium, this felt good for a change..
I thought I couldn’t fit more that the 4 tanks I have in my room, but this video has given me hope that I too can have a billion fish tanks in my room.
Never knew other people lived like me before the lady came around. Organized chaos is the best😂😂😂 dope dope fish room tho love this! The passion is real
Zenzo come tour my fishroom...lol bring dean too!! That would be so awesome!! Y'all could do a "fishrooms of America" tour hitting every city from san fran to pensacola fl!!! Lol that Actually sounds like a fun time you must admit
as a fish person this is GREAT as a mother.... Im like "Make your Bed and clean your room, at least have your closet closed when you have guests" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Haha buckets and siphons, the old fashion way, it’s a bit time consuming yet strangely soothing as I’ve been doing it so long it’s like second nature 😂
I have 15 tanks in my room just like this I know that to many tank syndrome I have 2 tanks on the ground I use a filter pump contented to a tube and that's how I do water changes on tanks on the floor cuz it's hard to siphon water at ground level
This video was awesome and informative but I felt as though we were just staring at their backs the hole time. Some more B-roll after each tank would have been beneficial to the viewers
Now I know I'm not alone! That is how i hope to end up one day. Just living my passion no matter how many square feet I have. I respect this a lot. Stop asking for more and get along with what you have to work with. It can ta K you a long way
Turning the lights off is the biggest pain, though the loudest pump is set to turn off at night so only the pumps necessary for survival are still running, those that can be shut off are off all night
The smaller the tougher for sure! There’s also a 5gal reef downstairs he didn’t include in the tour (there’s a handful at least of tanks he didn’t show) but yeah (the smaller the more of a challenge for sure!)
Is moisture not an issue? I would think you'd have to run a dehumidifier with that many tanks in that small of a space, wouldn't you? I can only imagine Dean, the former house builder thinking in his head...this is a disaster waiting to happen with wiring and these tons of cords and electricity running willy nilly. Dude has got some awesome fish though. Crazy fishroom is not clickbait in this video, lol. 👍💓👍
He’s got me looking at a way to stack two 40 Breeder tanks in my fish room. MTS is real! I want to know how he enjoys the fish with it being cramped in the lower area and the cost of his electric bill!

Dean probably having a panic attack in that mess. Lol
😄😄 I don't know Dean, but based on how deliberate he seems, I think he was probably initially overwhelmed 😁
For sure, Dean was already thinking about how to improve his space while looking at his fish. 😂
LMAO....I was thinking the same thing! You gave me a good laugh with that comment!

Insane but you can see his passion. You should be very proud of your success. Great job.
Phil's fishroom is my favorite fishroom I've ever seen. Your original tour of his room is one of my favorite videos!

Madness to the extreme!!! I absolutely love it. Phil has a little bit of everything going on. Thank you so much for sharing.
👁👄👁 me trying to understand how strong that house construction is
That roofline says 2nd floor to me & yes, wow that's alot of weight per square foot. Looks like it's working
Haha yeah it’s 2nd floor, and it’s why I’ve had to turn down a lot of free giant tanks I’ve been offered, but as it is now it’s been standing just fine for years, though I may move to another spot soon, so I’m not sure what will happen then 😂
@@philthytanks4952 Having a whole bunch of smaller tanks spread around definitely evens the load. I'm amazed at everything you have. Really cool!
My first thought was 'fire', with over loaded electric outlets. :/
Zenzo, I really enjoyed seeing you and Dean visiting Phil's fishroom.

I, too, enjoy smelling herbage while hanging out with my fish.
amazing rooms. love his tanks. beautiful. the saltwater tanks are amazing
It’s beautiful chaos. I love his artwork too. I would love to see him in a larger space, I bet that would be interesting ❤️❤️
Thank you! I’ve been meaning to get back into painting and crossing it over more with fish stuff 😊

I would never be able to sleep with all the fish noise nor would I be able to handle all of the dysfunction from such an unorganized space lol.
No one cares
Those slant front tanks are really interesting. I've never seen tanks like that before
Seeing his tanks...kinda like I should get all the beautiful fishes bugging my mind!👍🏼❤️
Phil obviously knows his stuff - fish, plants, and other critters all look super healthy - but that room, with tanks balanced on every available surface and cords running everywhere, would seriously make me twitch. One bump in the night, and it'd be game over.
LOL! He has since moved, and his tanks are more stable now.
If you are ever in san Francisco, stop by 6th Avenue Aquarium. Phil knows what he's talking about.
What a cool fish room! It may be compact but so diverse. And all the tanks are doing so well , no algae that can be seen! Kudos Phill! 👍
Really nice tanks with plants x

That plant growing out of his tank and onto the walls is really cool!
Great video! I love the B roll of the tank they’re looking at while they’re looking at it.
I loved the original tour of Phil’s tanks, and I loved this one too. I need to step up my game, I only have ten tanks in the bead room currently.
I really enjoyed! you could really see his passion for the hobby and love for fish. i’m sure dean gave him some good tips for future planning
But really impressive and kind of him of how he takes care and takes in fish🙏👍🏼

So… he did pass the threshold for insanity, heroically so. That guys incredible. Awesome. Great place!
I think Dean has a thing for nets. LOL
I'm so clumsy I would have tripped over some of those wires and destroyed about ten tanks at once.
I'm not clumsy, and that would still be my biggest fear, one wrong step, one dropped bucket and wham, just took out half the fishroom, 😯
Anxiety got a hold of me, could not finish the video
Love how heavily planted they are.

🤣🤣🤣 wouldn't let my dog sleep in that bed! 🐕🐕🐶
It's his actual bedroom. So dope. Not everyone has space. That's me in my younger days.
