I loved and enjoyed watching the video. As an architect who haven't practiced design alot and trying to get back to architecture design, this video was really organised and thoughtful. Post more please, whether the next steps of the same project or a new one.
Absolutely, any architecture software that works for you can be use as a tool for design concepting. I’m just more familiar with Rhino as a design tool.
Thank you! Yes, you can model more complicated curvy shapes in Rhino and import into Revit. The best way is to establish a shared origin between Rhino and Revit so that when you model in Rhino it will be placed in the correct position when you upload into Revit. For more detailed info, check out my other video “How to establish a workflow between Rhino and Revit”. Hope that helps.
Thank you and great question. This project is meant to be submitted to the LA pre-approved standard plan program. I used a typical LA lot as the site rather than having a specific location for the project so the project can be adapted to any LA residential backyard that can have an accessory dwelling unit.

Happy to hear! I appreciate the kind words. A new video will be released next week. Stay tuned!
Ha ! You are awesome
Nice video. I was wondering can you use the program FormIt instead of Rhino in the conceptual design process?

👏 👏 👏 thank you. ❤ 🙏
Please help me to understand why you use a "Typical LA residential lot" plan vs the actual project site. Great vid.
