    This was my first time watching an apartment tour for a guy and I enjoyed it. I love the simplicity of your apartment. The plants add a nice touch.

    Nice apartment. Thanks for the tour. One suggestion: in the closet, you can put your shorts that you keep on the top shelf in clear containers to keep them and you can still what's inside.

    Keep your fruit on your kitchen table and not in plastic bag(s), they will last longer and it is aesthetically pleasing.

    I live in the city and make about 103k. I could technically afford a bigger apartment, but chose a nice spacious studio in the heart of the Castro for $1600. It’s important that the place you choose is rent controlled. There were some pretty good deals in lower nob hill, but I lived in SOMA, and noticed the areas around the tenderloin, including lower nob hill, have been trashed during the pandemic. If you’re new to the Bay, don’t live near the tenderloin. You’ll find some good deals, but it’s not worth the high crime, aggressive and downright rude homeless people, and dirty streets.

    i dont get pricing for apartments in the us. 1400 a month would get you an insane 1000sf apartment in berlin, and average income isnt that big of a difference.

    When I relocate to the Bay area next summer, this is probably how much I'll have to pay for a private bed/bath in a shared place lool

      Ali lives in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in SF hence the price. The rest are more expensive but way more livable! SF is a wonderful place.

    Gotta love those pandemic prices! There's NO WAY you would've been able to find an apartment with this much space in the bay for less than $1800 before! I live in an in-law studio (approx 416 sq ft) and pay $1600. Not really complaining since I like it here and it was brand new when we moved in 2 years ago, but to think we actually are paying LESS than the neighbors (there's 6 units here total) because my boyfriend's cousin is actually friends with the landlord and scored us a discount lol it's ridiculous how expensive it is here. I'm glad you found such a great deal!!! That's how much I paid for my 600 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment back in 2012 and I thought THAT was expensive! 😭 I miss those days!

    • @undiscloseduser2004
      @undiscloseduser2004 2 роки тому

      Not sure I agree, the apartment is not updated so the pricing would be maybe 100 more pre pandemic so around 1500-1600 (he is paying 1495 I believe (so 1500); If it were updated, it would be 1800+.
      I currently live in the same area, totally redone studio at 425 square feet all new appliances, restroom, flooring, windows (everything brand new with stickers and tags on all appliances etc.) and I got it for 1595 this past March of 2022.
      I think it is a matter of being lucky and timing if that makes sense and, if you know agents that's a good thing (keep your agent’s number so when you do decide to move, you know who to call and you’ve already had a history with him/her.
      Thanks for the VDO.

    So pretty outside your window too. I bet it's quiet, right? Lower Nob Hill - I too am looking in that area right now as I MAY be moving back to the area for a job after a 7 year hiatus. What's your street and cross street? How is the crime and does the grossness of the TL creep into your area at all? Thanks!!! A.

    hey. I'm a electrical major in bout to go into junior year with a 2.4-5 cumulative gpa and 3.0 electrical engineering gpa. I really want to switch to cs major. do you think my gpa will have a huge impact on me? now if I do transfer seems like my cs gpa will be 2.8-2.9. 😅. do you think that good even though my CGPA will be lower around 2.4 or 2.5. ofcouse I think as I take more cs classes and do well on them, my cs gpa will be higher, but CGPA might be low...

      @@AliAbbasMalik2000 I've been away for a year due to military deployment and during my free time in the army I did some python and java and really like it. I'm going back to college and I either have the option to go back to engineering or do cs. The good part is I have most of my math classes already covered but the only thing that I'm concerned about is my gpa... I'm asking people around for advice so what would you say?
