Note: yes i'm aware i said "light and heavy" when i meant "light and medium" in the passives section, have a free blooper LOL! ;)
ya know current nightblade can get empower, major brutality and sorcery, major prohecy and savagery, minor savagery, minor force, major berserk, and minor beserk, minor intellect and fortitude, major expidition, and minor expedition all inherently? i personally would run grave ineveitability for that major force and than with a build like this since they can get the 3 elemental effects from weakness to elements, diesease dmg from powersap which also apllies minor cowardaice to 6 enemies hit for 10 seconds and is your brutality sorcery buff, and can get physical even with a staff using absorb stamina while also getting overcharged, and bleed from the trap skill, and also gets minor vulnerability on your specific target with your empower/ minor berserk ability and with poisons you can also get poison status effect and you can get minor breach if you use the ice wall of elements or off balance if you use the lightning one too which means you can go for either 100% uptime on minor breach or 7 seconds of a bonus 10% dmg on target every 15 seconds. all this combine, i would run serpents disdain since you also would get minor brittle and maim and as for a monster set or mythic, honestly i think that one depends on what you want really but for me i think death dealers fete would be a good option for pushing your stats to the stratosphere which for your heals also means you will get more back and have more than enough health to not be squishy especially since you can get major evasion and minor AND major resolve meaning you dont haveta worry about dying especially with the maim and cowardice being so prevelant.
honestly the only thing you lose out on not running oakensoul as a nightblade rn is the minor courage and in pve, the minor ageis and slayer which can hurt but not too bade when both the minor and major courage at least in pve especially, you should be getting from your healer and tank and if you want, being a stage 2 vamp with the shadowy disguise AND frenzy on top of relentless focus means you can get HIGH weapon and spell dmg. hell if ya wanted to risk your sustain than molag kena could maybe still work if you perhaps played a imperial giving you CRAZY dmg...
Love it, love it, love it. I've not been playing ESO for a while, but I've got a nightblade who's just sitting there, waiting to be made into something. Now I know what they'll be!

What are other good sets to run if you dont have the trial body stuff
I love this... I mostly pvp so I am kinda clueless when it comes to theory crafting for PVE content. I've always wanted to explore the PVE side of the game and this build might just be for me!

question for you Xynode, in long fights do you find sustain a bit of an issue?
I would like to ask about Relentless Focus vs Merciles Resolve. I assume relentless bc of 80 instead of merciles 60 BUT, merciles hit harder and heal bigger. So what do you think Xynode?
Id go merciles. Its better for nuking bosses since you hit harder. Relentless in trials maybe or if you have struggle with weaving for whatever reason
Do I need to use staffs? I am new to game and find it strange seeing a class like nightblades use staffs. Can I use daggers still if I go magic?
Does this work as a 1 bar solo build
Am i meant to heavy attack with this build? Cause when im light attacking im running out of magic too quick, even with the shards from dummy and potions
About two mins in he mentions that if you are struggling with resources, the solution is to ha. Hope that helps.
@stickytim64 thanks. Yea I can't seem to get the numbers on this that he claims he's getting my best parse with it was around 67k
@@shanksranks5823thx for giving numbers. I just want a decent dps build for pve w decent sustain for world bosses etc. But this doesnt seem to be relevant compared to a full dps nb with vigor which will be enough for all content imo
@Ju-Peter667 yea besides the sorc and arcanist, I can't seem to find any other great one bar dps build. I will say to his credit though...these videos are great for starters who aren't 100% familiar with the class. I live his book wizard one bar healer build as well

I don't get the attraction of ONE BAR builds. The fact that a Templar goes from opponent to opponent tossing off a DOT and then jabbing and jabbing and jabbing and jabbing and jabbing and jabbing is MIND NUMINGLY BORING. Does an Oakensoul ring really make the game more fun. This issue afflicts the SORC. Using destruction staffs with a Nightblade is kind of inconsistent with the blade in the name.
