Black and White Sports does this. I regularly skip the first 2 to 3 minutes of any of their videos. They want to keep you engaged for a minimum time to help their algos. It's like a game cheat. And its super annoying and transparent. They intentionally lower their quality to satisfy algo. Algo is making terrible videos.

I remember when he started his news site. Never paid any attention to it. It seemed like his bid to be "legit" but he hired a bunch of youtube commentators to be "reporters". Most of the audience for that probably came from his own subs and his audience was more into the pop culture stuff. He had to get drunk to be on Tim Pool because he was so anxious and that started a little war at the time.
Yeah Quartering was miffed that Tim Pool started his own Coffee company instead of shilling his coffee, so he started his own version of Timcast in revenge.
