You're back Erica!!! I recently noticed that my skin doesn't like dairy-based whipped cream. I had a mont blanc and a choux cream, the next day I got a big zit on my chin. Weeks later I had a piece of fruit cake, and the zit appeared again at the exact same location 😂 Too bad in my country there is still lack of awareness of how dairy products can affect our health and we don't have a lot of vegan options. I'll just hinder myself from the sweets, milk tea and ice cream 😭😭😭
Those fruit sandwiches looked very tasty, even to a meat eater like myself. It reminded me of when I was a kid and my mother used to make me honey and banana sandwiches. Incidentally I was reading about soya milk and, whilst it is probably the best substitute for cow's milk in terms of providing vitamins and minerals for you, like all the cow's milk substitutes it is almost totally lacking in iodine. Iodine is needed in your diet on a regular basis to keep you healthy and is particularly important for women's fertility. Eating seaweed or white fish regularly will provide you with the necessary iodine.
