Hiroshima is one of my favorite cities in Japan. The view of Hiroshima at the peak of Miyajima is epic.

まったりとした旅行いいですよね。自然を満喫してホテルでまったりお酒や地元の料理を堪能して、思い出になりますよね。コロナでステイホームばかりじゃ、別の病気になってしまいそうです。過去に広島と長崎の両方の平和記念館に行きましたが、こういった記念館が世界で再び作られないことを祈るばかりですね。また旅行動画見たいです！

Nice to see you traveling again! Did you take advantage of the Go To Travel campaign? I totally agree, people should visit Hiroshima, it's such a powerful experience. Also Nagasaki, though it's smaller and less popular, it's as powerful. I couldn't visit the museum, I was already overwhelmed and couldn't take any more. I found very interesting that nowhere you could find a single word accusing someone of doing this horror, no hate. It's just a place for the whole world to come together and agree that something like this should never happen again.
I completely agree with what you said about Hiroshima. Yes I definitely made good use of the Go To Travel, and it seems like it was in good time as they are discussing cancelling it seeing as it is fueling a surge in coronavirus cases. I haven't made it to Nagasaki yet, but it's def on my bucket list. Thank you for watching and sharing your experiences! ❤️

This vlog just made my day! Mom and I went to Hiroshima in 2003. Far and away, the most influential and profound trip of my entire life. We stayed at Hiroshima Kokusai near Hondori. It was a chance selection from the JR travel agent at the station. Walking distance to the Peace Memorial Park, Museum, and Genbaku Dome. Really difficult to put into words what I felt praying at the Genbaku, or what I felt at the Park and Museum, but I felt so, so fortunate to be able to pause, pray, learn, and feel. THANK YOU for this post Erica!
