Hey @TheMonkees-Do you or anyone else hear happen to know this venue location where the played, and also what date it was filmed of this show Monkees 50th Anniversary, performed almost exclusively by original Monkees, Peter Tork and Mickey Dolenze. i believe it was probably filmed between 2016-2018...however,I am unsure where this show took place. Anyone...?
The title "Randy Scouse Git" comes from the British sitcom 'Till Death Us Do Part. You scouse git was an epithet which the working-class, east-end and bigoted patriarch, Alf Garnett, would shout at his long-haired, indolent, left-wing Liverpudlian son-in law Mike Rawlings. The latter was played by Anthony Booth who was to become Tony Blair's father-in-law. The TV sitcom was to be remade in the USA under the name All in the Family. Anthony Booth really didn't have to stretch his acting skills too far to play that part as he was not unlike his character. He had no less than eight daughters and was married four times. However, only three of his children came from those marriages. The others were from three different women he did not marry. He nearly burned to death in November 1979 when, during a drunken attempt to get into his locked flat, he fell into a drum of paraffin which caught light. Given the excesses for which he was known, it's somewhat surprising that he managed to live to the age of 85. So that was the originally "randy scouse git", even if the phrase was addressed to the fictitious Mike Rawlings.
I love that lyric, why don’t u cut your hair? Why don’t u live up there why don’t u see what I see when I care. People who push their opinions on others
Micky hasn't lost a step in his voice. Still sounds the same and great.
I disagree. I think his voice has gotten better.

For the "only" song he wrote, it's a pretty amazing track! Probably my favorite Monkees song.
Same as mate . I sing this in my head everyday ❤
The most underrated song ever. 😢

I wish to meet you guys...
...and sing together...
It will be fun!
True...but Randy Scouse Git is the truly the cream of the Dolenz crop.
The title is English slang for 'lecherous Liverpudlian idiot' and therefore marketed there under the name 'Alternative Title.'
Don't you mean "a horny jerk from Liverpool"?
It went from that to "Meathead" in the U.S. for All in the Family. Lost in translation?? LOL

This was at The Bomb Factory in Dallas Tx on August 11 2016. It was from a concert special for AXS TV.
