This game is great but the name change just sucks soo bad. unless later on down the line they start adding other characters from other games like fortnite and diablo or something then it would make perfect sense but 2XKO sucks!
I don't understand how adding characters from other games would make it make sense. I thought it made sense already (although it sucks) 2x KO because 2v2 fighting game
@@creesPV no because the code name was project l. For league of legends now they just totally disgarded the fact that its part of the lol brand. Thats like calling marvel vs capcom or dragon ball fighterz 3XK0 any casual person isnt gonna know that its tide to that franchise and its not benefitting the company that originally made it.
@@creesPV so if they started adding characters from other games other than LOL it makes perfect sense not to call it any remotely close to LOL for marketing purposes.

Considering their naming conventions with their games (ie team fight tactics) doesn't surprise me that they went that route with the fighting game LMAO. I'm surprised that they didn't name legends of runeterra "trading card game" or something like that
The name Project L has no actual correlation to the fact that it's league related. Riot gives a "project: Letter" to all their unnamed projects. For example, Project A was Valorant, and Project F is an unannounced game. The letter L probably wasn't picked out for any particular reason. Granted, 2xko is a bad name but there's no chance in any world that other characters from other franchises are making it into this game. Riot has never been one to collarborate.
