Men in women's spaces: this has happened with putting convicted male rapists in women's prisons. It happened in Britain. It is still happening in the US, where women have been raped and impregnated. It also happens with hospital wards, especially psychiatric hospitals, where extremely vulnerable women have no protection against violent men.
A woman in the NHS as a patient has been raped. She was not believed because they said that there were no men. For a whole year. Then the cctv footage ( that they’d had all along) proved that she was but the man who raped her said that he was a woman. Women are not safe and we will fight for our daughters and our spaces and our language.
I don't think Freda is able to really take this horrific fact in as he's too entrenched in identiy.
I agree. My dad worked in the prison system. In women's prisons, a woman officer should be present, when a male officer is there. He had to visit women's prisons occasionally, and was always accompanied by a female officer. The same applies to male prisons. A female should always have a male officer present at interviews at all times.
At the time, there were no male officers employed in women's prisons.
can you give me the source for 'male rapists in women's prisons'. so i can check for myself, i want to know the total amount of occurrences, and compare this to the total prison population; in NZ and other countries, prisoners may be divided into subgroups, and those with 'special needs' may be separated from the general population - does this happen in the UK

Not sure about that. If the child confides in the teacher that some illegal activities are happening at home, the teacher has obligation to report for instance. But in terms of sexuality, this is a very very very grey area.

Freda tells us everything we need to know about him we he talks about the prison thing and frames it entirely around "risk". This isn't just about risk. This is also about women in prisons being *unwilling* to bunk and shower with men. Any man who disregards that because *he* feels *his* need or desire to bunk and shower with them supercedes that lack of consent on the women's part *is a predator*. Period. But like any entitled man, when women say no his answer is "I'm not dangerous" and he proceeds to disregard the "no".

On 3 occasions I have had men in the shop changing rooms! It was very distressing.
The only reason people may not seem to have a problem with him in real life is fear. Confronting a man in a women's restroom is pretty frightening for most women. If not afraid of assault, there is still concern about the trans tantrum.

That's what I've always said. Women are supposed to just accept any man who says he's trans or else we're bigots. I've personally got no problem sharing a space with someone like Blaire White - it's the autogynephilic men that I don't want in female spaces. And no trans women in female sports either.

People with gender dysphoria are going back to using transsexual now, just to get away from association these people.
If you see them on TV, UA-cam, etc. the chance of them not being autogynephilic is very low. Someone who has actual dysphoria will very seldom appear in this context. Obviously there are a few exceptions but they would never argue for men being in women's spaces(or sports etc.) like this and they're also able to admit to being men.

Males have XX chromosones, and females have XY. An archaeologist can find your bones in a thousand years time, and work out what you were when alive.
@barnaby hoofer Females are XX, males XY, but there are intersex conditions/disorders of sex development for males and females where they may have a different pattern, such as Klinefelters syndrome XXY, or Turners syndrome X, Swyer Syndrome XY where the gonads do not produce testosterone, and AIS or PAIS where either XX females or XY males may have different genital and reproductive organ development because their body is resistant to the androgens that instruct the development. Chromosomes do tell a large part of the story, but not always the whole story.

Except the people with XY and androgen insensitivity (I don't know the cause of it), the sex chromosomes tell the story.
If a person has only one X sex chromosome, she is a female and has Turner syndrome, or people with Swyer syndrome have normal XY but can't develop male sex organs because of a defect in Y chromosome, etc...
Your chromosomes contain any and every information about your physical body. How do you think your body is defined? By magic or chance?
Moreover, people with DSDs are around 0.5% of the entire population, and no sane person questions maleness or femaleness of these people. So, what is your point?

2. Point: 95.5% of people is either a female with XX, or a male with XY. There are similar amount of people as the people with DSDs, who were born with 6 fingers instead of 5. Would you feel the need to correct a person if s/he talked about that humans have 5 fingers?
People with DSDs are not in the middle, they are either male or female. Even if they were in the middle, or they could switch from one sex to the other, would that imply the notion that XY males can turn into women, or vice versa? NO. So, no need to mention them in every single trans related conversation.

Sometimes people dont have pairs of chromosomes, they have 1 or 3, comprised of X or Y combinations. You dont dispute this, now people who thought that everyone has pairs now knows that is not always the case.
Moving on...people can have hormone conditions that can change the development of their gonads in gestation and have an affect on the later development of their bodies too.
Do the bones indicate if someone has AIS or PAIS ? This is entirely seperate to XY or XX analysis, but can cause ambiguity in gonad development and how ones body may be perceived in childhood or adulthood...and gonads are soft tissue, and not part of your skeleton/bones.
Having AIS or PAIS does not change whether you are male or female, that is determined by the presence or absence of a Y chromosome, but it can create ambiguity in the development of gonads.
