My partner is a lawyer , he have lawyers friends ( immigration lawyers ) all of them helping all those guys crossing the channel, all of them became very rich , some of them are gays , and could hear one saying , he doesn’t care if his nieces been abused by his clients , they will get over it one day , and he will get the money! An International treaty says that refugees should claim asylum in the first country they come to. So they should have claimed asylum in Italy, France etc.

My father came to the UK on a plane with a passport and asked for political asylum back in the 70s ( greek dictatorship issues) and ended up opening 2 restaurants and yet asylum is given to illegal entry????? How does illegal entry become legal? Why didnt you ask him about the immigration act .The act is now law passed in 2023 .It states no person entering these isles after that act was passed can claim asylum .So why haven't any of those people who've come in been removed .You should have also asked him about France breaking its own maritime law .Which states no boat leaving french shores .Carrying passengers can do without a permit .The boat must seaworthy and not overcrowded .So the French who stand by and watch these people get into dinghies .They are breaking their own law and are cupable to any death that may arise .As a result of the letting them leave french shores.Why dont the uk government use the echr .To take the french an eu to court for endangering peoples lives

This man is a lawyer and like the accountant whose job it is to find ways out of paying taxes a Lawyer's job is to find anyway possible either through technicalities or reinterpretation of laws to avoid them being applied to his clients. His job is nothing to do with justice or right and wrong, it is to bend the law in his client's favour.

To be recognised as a refugee under the 1951 United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, you must have left your country and be unable to go back because you have a well-founded fear of persecution based on one of the following convention reasons: race. religion. nationality. I contend that the majority of those coming across the channel in boats KNOW that they do not meet these criteria. If you enter the country knowing you do not meet these criteria, then you are breaking the law
Yes they they have a well-founded fear of persecution, they are often seen as terrorists in their own country, never mind here. The United Arab Emirates has a fear of them leaving Britain and going there.
