The shoe fits very very wide. Although it doesn't look like it. Despite tightening it to it's limit i still kept sliding forward and had to extract my toenails. After ,100k. Race in the rain. Underfoot felt fantastic though.
Great first review, be interesting to see how you get on with them, I was struggling to find something a little more forgiving over longer distance, I previously ran in Saucony peregrine, but found these unforgiving on hard trails, so have gone down the route of the Hoka atr 6 which has fitted the bill nicely.
Yes, I’m due to post a 100mi sum up and I find them sticky on road (so not a road-to-trail shoes), and if anything to soft and splashy on hard packed paths/trails. Feels like it’s better suited to damp/wetter trails, also rocky/scree paths. I was expecting to use them all the time, but I keep reaching for my other trail shoes instead...
Thank you for the review! Could you please include in your other reviews how much mileage you did in the shoes. Also did you run in mud, dry conditions etc.
Will do in the future, thank you for the advice! This is my initial review after c.20k on a few outings in hard packed trail, woodland and grass road, relatively dry (well, for the UK), nothing too muddy. I plan to do a 100-200k update after I’ve been able to really wear them down on more varied terrain and situations. Thanks for watching!
Really loved your review. Wish you kept your channel going
Thanks for watching, and for the comment! Life is getting in the way, somewhat, but I’ll keep up with what I can!!
