Hi everyone! Just a quick note on the lighting in this video. As natural light can be quite unpredictable, it's often a good idea to use studio lights to simulate sunlight through the windows, ensuring your lighting stays consistent. You might have noticed it got a bit brighter outside towards the end. Using artificial lighting would help prevent these changes. Of course, not everyone has access to high-powered, expensive lights (myself included), but it's worth keeping in mind for future shoots.
That back light lighting the right side in the background around 1:40 really makes a *huge* difference in balancing the frame, so much darker and dungeon looking without it. If you hadn’t mentioned it was a «fake» daylight coming from the window nobody would have thought about it twice :)
This video was great! New subscriber here! So glad i found you! Thank you for the way you explain things and you speak slow enough for anyone to understand. Love it!!! ❤️
I studied Digital Film Production at University in London and I work as a freelance videographer so it’s a bit of a mixture of both school and experience. 🫶

HELL YEAH! ♥
Yes to more lighting videos! It’s an area which I just can’t really get - which is so frustrating 😅 appreciate how simple this was! 🎉❤️
Thanks! Yeah it can be really tricky! I’ll make more! 🫶

Wow, great quality! How did you colour grade it?
I need to do a video about colour grading so watch this space 🫶
And, what lens did you use?
35mm f1.8
Did you learn everything by yourself or with any course?
