I'm excited to announce the launch of my data analytics bootcamp in June! This program is 7-months long and is designed to help you land your first role in tech. In the program we will cover tools such as Tableau, SQL, & Python as well as topics such as A/B testing, version control (with Git), and machine learning.
This program is offered through Masterschool. I will lead the program as the head mentor, but there will also be teaching assistants, career counselors, and other staff to help you every step of the way.

I started with no notion in computer science (2,5 years ago), I thought there was only one computer language (Java) and since I created a program (with OOP, modularity...), which retrieves the desired data thanks to Pandas / Numpy from .txt .csv files and thanks to your courses bravo!

Hey, Keith ! I am happy to hear this news, I really want to apply for this program, btw I am backend developer right now and working for 8 hours a day. What do you think can I manage to succeed in the program? And also I have question about getting a job, I am from central Asia and in our country salaries are not high, in this case what I can do after graduation? Or program will help me to find a job from USA or other countries?

Hey, super cool initiative. If I'm graduating around December (undergrad) and intend to source my own full time job before then, could I still enroll in this bootcamp for self enrichment purposes? Since the tuition fee wouldn't be deducted from the salary of a job I secure through the bootcamp, I'm not sure how that would work out.
It doesn't make much sense for me to put my own job search on hold until the completion of this bootcamp either. Thanks in advance!
I think you're welcome to apply but I would say it is more likely that spots are given to students that want to land a job directly from the bootcamp.

Bro I gotta question!! the thing is I can see the pre recorded lectures, as I'm seeing now, but can there be a live interaction with you of some sort, so that everyone can, you know interact for doubt session or more!! I think it'd be more helpful & interactive way to learn stuff!!
Yep in addition to the pre-recorded material, I'll be doing a combination of hosting advanced lectures live, doing 1:1s with all students, and having office hours each week! There will be plenty of live interaction :)

Hey I have a question, when can I start the program? I wonder if there is a section between January and the summer.
We're kicking off this program on June 21st, but if all goes well I hope to run another one after this concludes (would probably start in January or February)
I am working right now. please let me know if the schedule flexible enough to accommodate my work and personal commitments.

"All live classes are recorded, several of them will be mandatory. Most of the schedule Is very flexible, but from our experience, most students do need at least 25 hours per week to succeed in the program. Extremely strong students can do with a little bit less. We have plenty of students who work full-time, but it does require work on weekends, nights, etc."

Hi Keith! Thank you for your videos! I was wondering if this bootcamp prepares you for entry-level data science roles as well? it says--become a data Analyst, but I was wondering, since you learn ML and NLP, that you get the skills to apply for entry level Data science jobs? Also, I know it is %100 online, but will it make sense to move to Boston for the networking/career opportunities offered?

I would say if you are a particularly strong student you could land an entry-level data science role. Most students though will land data analyst positions (which often can be a great stepping stone to land a data science role next)

I got few more questions after the ones i did under the post. I applied yesterday, got the results for the assesment test this morning and i passed. Now i was asked to write a cover letter, but no deadline was provided. Is there any? And if so, in order to start as soon as possible(i didn't get exactlt what day the clurse start), when is it?
Application deadline is the end of May, but I recommend submitting the cover letter a week or two before that if possible. The bootcamp starts June 21st.

Awesome! If you do the text cover letter, you should not need to include your physical address (location) on it.

You should be able to apply from anywhere! No location restrictions as far as I know.

It sounds like to me that more people applied than anticipated so all of the interview slots originally available got taken. My expectation is that some more spots will open up soon. I will be able to confirm when I have a call with the team later this week.

What is the cost?
$15,000 USD for the 7-month long bootcamp -- Important to note though you are not charged any of that unless you land a job in tech that meets the minimum salary threshold, then you pay 10% of your salary until the fee is paid off. Also important to note that this not a loan or anything. If you are unable to get a job in tech, the tuition fee expires after a few years and you will not need to pay a thing.

10% of monthly or yearly salary? Gross or net?
Take your yearly gross salary (before taxes), take 10% of that, divide it by 12, and what you are left with is the monthly payments that you are expected to make.

Love your tutorials, but 15k tuition fee is crazy
If you get hired and get the job paying you 30k,you'll be paying off your tuition fee for 5 years
One nice thing is that there is a minimum salary requirement in order for you to be charged the $15K.
If you land a job that pays 40k/year or less, I don't think you are obligated to pay tuition. The goal is for people to land roles in the 60K-80K/year range or higher I would say.
Also the university tuition costs here in the United States are crazy high, so it's cheap compared to universities by me, but that being said 15K can be an intimidating number regardless which I definitely understand.
