The Dixie Dregs (aka The Dregs) have been.. and for me will remain always... musical heroes to me. But we all must realize.. the audio recording (qualities??) of cell phones is akin to losing your virginity to a farm animal.
Saw them at the Crest Theater in Sacramento California. Great show, but for the size of the hall (medium small old theater) they were too loud. The kinda loud when the violin or lead guitar starts to solo and you know it's time for ear plugs. Sound man was not too concerned when numerous folk told him the same. I wondered if the band set the levels????
Steve's tone on this is obscenely good. God Almighty - what a band...
