U bolts you are a genius!
They worked great but this type of generator is just too loud. I ended up getting a smaller compact and quiet one. I've got videos of it on here.

I think you will be saving more than that ,, I run my 3000 eu inverter and is only 2 gallon tank and less for 10 consecutive hours just running the the 10,000 btu ,if is really hot outside I'll say 8 hours straight
I have switched to a smaller more portable one it last about 7/8 hours and runs my smaller AC but I got out of the owner operator game it's a joke I make so much more money now with Walmart check out my last live if you're interested it's awesome
You can put a muffler on your generator to quiet it down a whole lot more.
I almost used the one from my old apu but instead I bought a smaller one. It's just easier because the little one you can keep in the cab or under bunk until ready to use and it's a much quicker set up...I had my bigger one on the cat walk with a tarp...took for ever
I've just watched your video, and i love it. Maybe you can respond to me. How do you protect it from the rain/snow or to be too obvious when it's running?
When it rained I had it under the truck. No issues always had it on the ground and locked with a cable lock lol

Hey what type of ac/heater do you use for you truck. Looking for one for mine so I don't burn threw as much diesel fuel in my truck.
Well for ac I use a Haier Portable ac I bought on sale at target. I use a 2300 watt wen Amazon special generator. As far as heat goes I can just point the exhaust port into the bunk area and design some type of vent to vent the cool air...video will be made of this. There is a video of the little generator on my channel.
I have same setup but the problem is carbon monoxide getting inside truck
I did extended exhaust anyway getting inside
I ALWAYS have a working carbon dioxide alarm inside the semi. I ended up using a smaller and quieter one. I was able to put it on the ground under the truck down wind. Worked good.

Is there a 12v outlet on your generator? If so have? Can we charge the truck batteries with generator? I just curious
Yes there's a 12v on both generators. There's a couple of guys on UA-cam that have these generators permanently mounted and are running some type of battery charging system with it.

The big one I only used one night I was so loud. The little orange WEN I used quite a bit it powered the big portable ac and the TV DVD phone charger and fridge . It would run about 6 hours full throttle on a tank.

When you’re 34 reset how many hours you torn it off before you start again and how many hours it run straight thank you
I never do a reset on the road. I've switched to a smaller quieter unit. It lasts 6 to 8 hours on a full tank. The video is somewhere on my channel. These big ones are too loud and not efficient.

Yes it was too loud I only used it one night and I parked as far to the end of the line as I could I ended up buying a smaller one that's much more quiet and it worked fine but I'm at Walmart now making the big bucks without the risk

If you have a shore power plug on the outside of your truck, plug it in to the generator or your house and yes, it will charge the truck batteries.
All the generators I've had do have 12v outlets. I've seen people using the NOCO genius to help the system. Really interesting!
