I haven't finished the video yet to know if he actually reveals to us it was also SMM2, but I did notice that level's Level ID was definitely from SMM2 because it was shorter than IDs SMM1 used. Also when he pauses the game in the next level it's clearly SMM2 because you didn't have the option to boo levels in SMM1. So the video started out as SMM1 and then he changed to SMM2. Edit: Okay I've finished the video. Another sign it was SMM2 was it had a SM3DW level and he complained about Super Expert only giving you 30 lives instead of 100.

I've asked him on Twitter and Discord but he doesn't answer.about it. As it was happening on Twitch people in chat were saying something looked sus (because he kept looking down at his phone or something off-screen that viewers couldn't see) and the longer he takes to upload it, I'm starting to think they might have been right and it might not have been legit. I wouldn't mind being proven wrong though.

i hate that trend people do with these where they give you zero powerups except when they do give a powerup but only for the purpose of making you immediately get hit and lose it to gain i-frames to pass an obstacle. . .
I heard you say you wouldn't mess around with Pretendo. I could be wrong. Anyways I've tested Mario Maker 1 with it and it partially works. You can upload and download new levels. Searching new levels and some modes like 100 Mario doesn't work. It's in the works but what's there is pretty interesting.
Technically if you had a modded Switch and you had cheats like moon jump. You could technically beat those phantom jump levels. Just use moon jump to get over the phantom jump part and you could beat said levels. But yes those levels are impossible with cheating/hacking.
if they were saved to his course bot, they wouldn't have had the live counter on the top left, these are probably levels he might have been able to save from corrupted personal recordings, or shorter (not worth uploading) runs where he game over'ed too soon, all levels shown were from 100 and 30 man runs.
He talked about this in a past video somewhere, he recorded a bunch of 100 man runs before the game shut down so he could keep releasing videos for a while

When you canceled (twirled) the 2nd jump sequence in a triple jump, it did it on the next time you press jump. Meaning you could get the triple jump whenever you wanted to.
I don't know man, the game keeps telling you that you suck, so you might need to make another channel called RyuSucks (Hold up, sounds a bit sus I know) But it would only have clips or videos of you failing in games.
When watching these videos I get frustrated because he sometimes doesn't do the obvious then just calls a level hot garbage and boos it because he's too impatient to figure it out.
Literally the start of the video is 100 marios, this is not possible in Mario Maker 2 and also when he paused in the first level you see the star button, not the like/dislike buttons

that was 10000000% a phantom jump, with 2 jumps it would have been impossible to get over that 3rd higher spike wall, hence it's a phantom jump.
