This song gets better each time I hear it. It should get way more attention worldwide but for now we can keep our favourite ladies close to our hearts.
You are right, this song is a journey.Mayu's voice! It is something else, like you said. And I recommend "KURENAI" cover as the next song you should check out. Take care!🇯🇵👍
Saki played Judas Priest's "Painkiller" with Gacharic Spin at Hana's (guitarist, singer, drummer for Gacharic Spin) birthday party a couple days ago and sounded awesome (her sweeps are ridiculous!), and it was great watching her having a blast just playing music. She looked great, healthier and a lot more energetic than she's seemed lately (I thought she was getting way too thin for moment). I wish her the best, as much as it sucks that she's gone from Nemo, she looks like she's enjoying herself and at peace.
@@Amiekinz4ever I agree, the rest of the ladies are still uber-talented. Tamu is one of the most respected session drummers in Tokyo and also plays classical piano, bass, guitar and jazz sax. Hazuki is an under rated technician on guitar, which really stands out on some of her signature Ibanez demo videos where she plays real intricate Steve Vai level instrumentals. Haraguchi-san is also a phenomenal technician on bass, and Mayu also plays piano, plus she's been learning guitar for a couple years now. A few weeks ago, the remaining members did an Instagram live in their rehearsal space where Mayu sang and played guitar and they also played a rearranged version of "Orian" that involved new bass and drum solo to fill in some of Saki's space. Then instead of just replaying Saki's solo, Hazuki wrote some new parts to hers, making it longer. It's cool that they're not just automatically bringing in a new guitarist and instead are trying to work it out as a 4 piece. I got total confidence in them, they'll be fine.
@@Amiekinz4ever They released an update video that included upcoming tour dates and a highlight clip from this year's'24 NAON no YAON festival (annual festival run by with legendary Japanese all female metal group Show-Ya that features all-female talent) filmed last week, and they sounded great! I'm sure they got plenty of advice from the members of Show-Ya who have always been fans of Nemo, and are "sensei" godmothers/mentors to a lot of Japanese female bands. Show-Ya is also a 4 piece, and even going back to the 80's without modern tech, guitarist Sun-Go has always had a huge sound. Not loud, but dialed in where it almost feels like 2 guitars. Nemo's getting it dialed in and I can't wait to see full videos of that show.
Great reaction. Yes they kick ass at power ballads too. They played this at the 5th anniversary show at Budokan back in Feb their biggest show they have played to date. To play at Budokan is a sure sign that as a band you have made it at least in Japan. Of course that was also the last concert with Saki. But they did play this and it sounded great!! Not sure we will ever hear it played live again but you never know. This song was written by a well known Japanese song writer for an Anime movie that came out this year. Nemophila arranged and performed it and put it on their new album. By the way the Blu Ray for that concert is coming out next month. The ladies also played at the famous NAONのYAON festival this past weekend. First time they played live for people with just the new 4 lineup. Saw one person that was there comment that they kicked ass as always. By the pics looks like they had a blast too. They only played 3 songs. But it was a one day festival with lots of bands. They are also releasing a video this Firday. I doubt it is a new song. You never know but I am thinking it is a live from the festival this past weekend which will be good to see. Nemophila is notorious over the past few years of releasing new songs, live songs or covers always on Friday. The fans call it Nemophila Fridays and it has been awhile since we have had one so looking forward to it.

"Now I Here" is a great guitar ballad track and Mayu's clean range really shines throughout. It's a beautiful song.
Easy to see why fans love Nemophila, each time they release a new song, you don't know what genre it will be, but you do know it will be good!
