Damn..Wish I was 15 again when the original released..Great times 🔥🤘 But lovin’ this cover..These ladies are something special. This is first song I heard from them and it was love at the first sight. Today they are favourite band along with Band-Maid. Nemophila deserve so much more attention here in Western World. Now, as a 4 member Band, they are even heavier than before. Thank you for spreading the word 🙏🏻 Lovin’ Nemophila ❤️🤘🔥🇫🇮
Yes it all started here. I believe one if not the first cover and video they released on you tube. Tamu was pregnant during this performance too. Also same day and place they played and released video of Oiran their first song. Very cool performance it was and you could tell it was still new and rough around the edges. The solo section and not been completely worked out or polished but it still sounded awesome. I always loved Hazuki solo on that performance. But yes an amazing cover of the Trooper. They also do a cover of another great Maiden song Aces High and knock it out of the part. The chours sounds great with Mayu and Hazuki singing together. Check that one out too. You will love it !! 🤘🤘🤘
You know it was early days if Hazuki is still playing ESPs lol Fun Fact: on Tamu's personal channel she has versions of most of these early live studio session videos that are just drum cam angles. She also just released a cute video of her practicing "Zen" on her home electronic kit where she's having fun with. That woman's smile could stop a war.😊 Her personal channel has a lot of cool content, she actually already had a decent following before joining Nemophila.
This was early days for Nemophila, and two things of interest are Mayu barely speaking English, and Tamu with an even warmer smile than usual owing to her being pregnant! Oh, and yes they ARE soooo good!😃
@@normanweaver7935 Yes, I think Mayu is improving but far from fluent. In my eyes this makes her switching between Japanese and English in songs and doing English covers incredible. A talented singer.
@@Dead-EyeMetal In my ignorance I assumed most young Japanese would speak some English from lessons in school and/or the obvious mainly American influence through music, movies, culture etc. It's fine either way, I think Nemophila do a great job.
@@bondradman7353 I just rechecked the interview, which was after the release of the covers EP, and her words (as translated by YT, mind you,) were, "There are quite a few English songs, but I can't speak even an inch." Video ID no. is 0Eu9M1hJItM Pertinent part is at the 6 minute mark. But yes, as a singer I think she is beyond talented and with wider exposure she'd be classified among the greats
Whoa, that's bittersweet... That was a time when Nemophila was just getting started and they had such a wholesome chemistry 🥹 the covers were a lot of fun (the Nemo Fridays) and I was hoping they'd cover Nirvana someday... But Saki The Empress just left the band and I was shocked like, "how?? They had many good times together!?! Why???"😭 They parted ways on good terms, I believe. Saki is a friendly lone wolf, she's everywhere and get along well with everyone. Nemophila was always experimental and once they've found their niche, The Empress signed off. I wish both parts the best, really (although I do miss that flamboyant, spectacular Saki of her Mary's Blood days and she seemed a bit like a supporting character with Nemo). As long as they keep playing, I'll always be supportive of them. Departures mean new journeys and new destinations and instead of farewells, I'd rather wish they'll meet again along the way🤘
Yeah, and the Hazuki backing singing is very good there. They started a bit cheesy though ... but that is OK as they did this only for fun. And the rest of the song they just killed.
I've always been a little annoyed by how playful and relaxed they seem when playing this song. I was listening to older covers of The Iron Maidens' "The Trooper" and they were more energetic than this particular one. Nemophila also did a cover of "Aces High" and they put more energy into it and overall I like it better than this one. 😉

I read an interview with Mayu from last December and apparently she still doesn't speak English
@@normanweaver7935 She's picked up a little but she always just learned English lyrics phonetically - mostly with SAKI's help, IIRC.

They make it easy but it's not 🤘
They shred!
Saki in her Babymetal shirt. 😊
Yeah that's rad!
You should check out how good Lovebites does "eagle fly free" from Helloween 👍
👍👍 try one ok rock / wagakki band / asterism / koiai / next 👍 🎻
Funny hearing this. With her accent it's like an Elmer Fudd Bruce Dickinson, lol
Lol

Their next album is going to be fire 🔥
If you haven't already done it, their cover of Maidens Aces High is also great.
