Yeah I was gonna say, I thought blue was the azeroth (current canon stormwind) refugees under Loathar, whereas Lorderon was Silver.

Lordaerons colours are blue though. They will use white in-game to allow the player to control blue which is Lordaeron. Stormwind and Lordaeron both have blue. Just look at the human campaign screen, blue Lordaeron banners.

Those models are amazing!
Lordaeron's color in the second war is, silver. They were horse lords. Similar to LOTR Rohan. The Azerothians took refuge in Lordaeron after the first war whose colors were blue.

The other thing i would criticised is that the higher tier unit (captain?) of Stromgarde looks too, idk, similar(?) to an unmounted paladin (the winged helm, warhammer combo with the silvery fist iconography)

Also, could the Stormwind faction be made more war-torn (at least visually)? After all, they’re the veterans of the first war: their capes would be torn, their armors dinged, their blades a bit dull. Playwise, they could be more resilient with more resistance to spells and higher health, and would know the enemies weaknesses and could therefore crit enemies, orcs in particular.
I wish I could help out in implementing those technical ideas. Looking forward to this project brought completely to fruition.

I wonder if Alterac's betrayal here will play closer to the WC2 Alliance campaign, or the significantly downplayed novelisation version?
What I would change about the Lordaeron units is the Dark Blue to Light Blue to disdinguish them from the Stormwind units, I know the WarCraft II manual says Lordaeron's Nation Color is White but I think Light Blue would fit to the Kingdom more also I would change Tabard so it would be white with an light blue double-headed eagle similar to the one they wear in in World of WarCraft

Having modern capabilities, you can visually change the models of units for the players, after upgrading, that is, moving to the second level, in terms of armor and weapons. Otherwise, it turns out that when producing a knight, the first level, he will already appear all in gold, but according to the characteristics, a little more than an ordinary soldier. And having such opportunities, today, you can demonstrate this visually, as soon as the player has improved the weapons, all subsequent units will already have new models. Incredible. You are going with different models for every nation. I admire your passion. One question. The "grander" models are supposed to be captains or knights?
It would be neat if each model was representing blacksmith upgrades.
@@ViralVenom I would prefer a randomization to the models for every unit. For example you could have a standard Footman model, a veteran, a new recruit, a model for every nation etc. This could also allow for Human or Dwarf Priests, variety on Grunts and many more. The campaign could give your army and the armies of the enemies specific skins for their units based on the faction. Garithos for example coould have an army with a mercenary look, Thrall's unit could have different skins than Grom's units or the Blackrock Orcs etc. Think of how Starcraft 2 was changing the skins depending on the faction in the campaign. The multiplayer could of course give the player the ability to customize the army according to his taste.

The soldiers of Lordaeron wear white robes, not blue
I could have sworn that in the original games, Lordaeron was a very light blue while Stormwind was a very dark blue.
Their faction colour is blue but use white for gameplay purposes. Because blue is the player character and also Stormwind. Player character plays as Lordaeron as well in WC3
@@zanthimos the colours you had in WC2 were red, blue, black, white, orange, yellow, violet, and green.
Only in WC3 did they introduce multiple shades of the same colour.

And you're correct about Azeroth/Stormwind, too. You can even see in Warcraft 3 and early WoW maps that the southern continent is called Azeroth. But even in WC2 there were mentions/hints of the world as a whole being called Azeroth. But now the kingdom is nearly exclusively known as Stormwind.

Gilneas has always existed, they just isolated themselves from the world after the second war
