    If you can do enough research to get to swapping out led bulbs, you should be able to learn about aiming after installing aftermarket bulbs. Your glare is immense! I can see the trees being lit up above your car when the high beams are off. These might look cool to you, but they are definitely glaring more than what is tolerable for most people. Please do more research and learn about the dangers of poorly distributed light. You might think this is great but if you had gone with a higher quality bulb you’d probably have a much better cutoff, better distance brightness and FAR less glare! I recommend SV4, Morimoto, Xenon Depot, Diode Dynamics, GTR lighting, if you want something that isn’t going to anger everyone your lights are pointing at. This is becoming more and more of an issue as more companies sell these illegal bulbs for headlights. Especially now that more laser PnP bulbs are coming out and most People don’t seem to see the problem with that. The fact that most lasers can blind you with direct retinal contact as little as 20 milliseconds. So please for the safety of everyone else please at least do some reading about how to properly aim your lights to eliminate as much glare as possible. You really should do more research. Even look into retrofitting. The Corolla low beam is a great candidate for NHK’s PnP biLED projector that slides right thru the bulbs hole and is then tightened with a nut on the back. That’s only one, there’s also Morimoto MLED 2.0’s, and oem biLED projectors if you want to do a little cutting and using buy and bolts. Don’t be afraid to learn. It’s not very difficult. Especially since everyone loves sharing their knowledge.

      They need to start stopping and ticketing people for this. It's one of the most dangerous modifications you can do to a car. I literally have to close my eyes for a second until people with these bulbs pass by, it's a little scary. I know if I brighten my lights at them, they'll just brighten theirs back blinding me 100% afterwards.
      The worst part is I just saw a review yesterday of one of these bulbs by a woman who drives a big Dodge truck (the worst of all) and she said "if you can tolerate the angry drivers brightening their lights at you, this is a great bulb". < -- people know and don't care

      @@Yodaismycopilot I just told you. LEDs get hot. They produce a lot of heat actually bro. And bigger ones need a driver to control them it’s basically like a ballast for old style lights

    • @HAL-dm1eh
      @HAL-dm1eh Рік тому

      Unless it is hooked up to an electrical system made for LEDs (much lower wattage going in), they will produce just as much heat as any other conventional bulb, because of the nature of the system. The heat is in the circuitry and according to the power output there's some in the bulb, too.
      Put your fingers on an LED replacement for a typical house light bulb. They're not cool to the touch and by the time the circuitry burns out in mine (which it eventually does) there's always burn marks where it was cooking inside the light socket.

    Hello, i was wondering if you could install LED lights for your high beams too? This generation of corollas use the highbeam housing to run the day time running lights so implementing led bulbs could be troublesome. Did you do it and if yes was it successful? Thank you!

    • @Loverofengines101

      Yes make sure you have the right number

    • @flappingflight8537
      @flappingflight8537 5 місяців тому +1

      The guy mean that the high beam is used for day driving lights as well but in order to do not blind the others , high beam brightness is reduced on about 30% when they are used as day driving lights DDL. The reduction of brightness is done by driving the the high beam bulbs by PowerWidthModulated signal with frequency of 50Hz . If you simply replace the regular high beam halogen light bulbs with LED ones, first they will shine too bright for DDL and second they will flicker!!!
