Only noticing this Keiko seems so still when she is singing.
Just noticed that when Joelle starts her short solo line at 5:27, the violin repeats the chorus line the vocals just finished singing! Never noticed that until I happened to look at the violinist and suddenly heard her part playing behind Joelle.
These little gems are what make the music so full and make the melodies stick in the subconscious. 🔥🔥🔥

I never heard these songs being performed live unless there was a Guest Singer appearing. Thus, Joelle joined FJ and it made Yuki Kajiura-san decided that Joelle was powerful enough to pull off this song as the Lead Singer was amazing! Hope it can also expand the song choices for FJ Live even if there is no Guest Singer around.
I agree. She gives that vocal stability to lead songs like this. She could be a guest artist if she wasn't part of the core singers.
It's telling that Yuki Kajiura is bringing out all her old classic songs with Joelle in the roster.

With that beginning I would really like to hear a full song duet with just Joelle and Keiko!
Love the Joelle and Yuriko unison chorus at 4:40! Really showcased their blend (including vibrato) which is one of the strongest in FJ. 🔥
Then 5:27, the sweet and unexpected key change that set up Joelle's emotional solo line with nice movement between chest-mixed and head voice. ❤️
At 6:26 the delightful head voice harmony from the ladies with Keiko providing a short supporting.line.
Then finally Keiko with a very rounded warm tone for her solo around 7:10. Nice cap to the medley. (Edited: Corrected "Keep" to Keiko")
Only Kaori didn't get a solo here it seemed.
I totally agree with you. I wanna hear more duets Joelle and Keiko or Yuriko and Keiko (still obsessed with Himeboshi and live stream Keiko's birthday). I hope Yuki Kajiura-sensei will makes it in her vol 17. ^^

けーちゃんのスカートの丈が1番長いって珍しいです。イメージは1番短いのがけーちゃんでした。似合ってるんだけど、今までを知ってるとちょっとだけ違和感を感じてしまいます。1番最近の公演はKalafinaパートがあったからか、スカート丈が通常運転でしたので、ちょっと安心してしまいました…
Kalafinaの時とかもロングのスカートはありましたが、3人とも長かったから違和感はなかったです。

合约问题吧？相传梶浦老师是和高层理念不和离开了，keiko提前结束合约跟着梶浦老师跑，hikaru约满也跑了，只有wakana合约还在spxxxcxxxt，谣传是公司不放wakana(网络谣传)，也不希望她和梶浦老师合作...所以只能各自solo了⊙︿⊙
新加入的歌姬叫joelle，是sound horizon/linked horizon的合作歌姬
梶浦さんの音楽プロデューサーとして素晴らしいと感じました。
ただひとつだけ残念なことがある気がしていますので申し上げさせて頂きます。
何かと言うとKalafinaの解散の事です。
梶浦さんと事務所との大人の事情で煽りを受けKalafinaが解散となったのはファンの1人として非常に残念です。
出来ればKalafinaには再結成を熱望しています。
方法としては例えば梶浦さんが音楽プロデューサーとして同じ女性ユニットのPerfumeの海外展開を成功させているアミューズに所属してwakana、keiko、hikaruの3人のKalafinaを再結成して海外を主軸に活動をプロデュースするという筋書きはどうかなと思います。
もちろん3人には再結成の日までボイストレーニングをほどこし大々的にKalafinaの再結成を宣伝する、例えば半年ぐらいの余裕を持って準備して武道館か東京ドームで再結成ライブを実施すれば梶浦さんにもKalafinaにもインパクトがあると思います。
もちろん再結成ライブにはアニメの新曲も準備する必要がありますが梶浦さんとKalafinaならそんなに難しくないのではと思っています。
とにかく再結成を念頭にして動きだすことが必要だと思います。
大人の事情で解散となっていますから大人の事情を感じさせない演出が良いのではと感じます。
深い事情は知りませんがKalafinaと梶浦さんにはもう一度表舞台にたって欲しいと熱望するいちファンの58歳のおじさんです。

Great points about Amuse and the potential for reuniting Kalafina even if for limited select overseas work. I also 100% agree on the need to do a lot of vocal health and preparation for them.
Technically speaking, in my opinion, one challenge is that their voices have changed since they've gotten older and they wouldn't want to get into the same situation of excessive use in too many concerts, especially since they're pushing their solo careers as well.
And the fans will want them to do all the old classics which were often too high for Hikaru and Wakana to sing sustainably. Well that's where a reworking of the key to a lower one and the use of less stressful vocal techniques (through professional coaches) will help to reduce the vocal impact.
Also it's going to be a massive financial investment and the companies involved will need to be sure that they can make back their money and make profit. Is there a sufficient paying audience available out there who will make the effort worth pursuing?

If they coordinate a strong campaign of marketing hype for 3-6 months, and really engage the official fan club and many unofficial fan clubs and creators on UA-cam, Facebook, etc., who have kept the music of Kalafina alive for old and new audiences, they can generate strong nostalgia for the group and prepare people's hearts.
On the funding side, doing international pre-order tickets (for live-stream), lots of early merchandise sales, and tie-ins with possible revivals of the anime can also drive attention and the financial possibilities.
They can even do a series of mini-lives focused on just the songs from one anime at a time, in a studio setting (like in the Yuki Kajiura Studio LIVE Reprise Vol. 01).

Joelle has taken the place of Wakana who it seems left Fiction Junction of her own free will.
She did it pretty easily, tbh.

And the songs you love (epic compositions created by Yuki Kajiura…compare her current songs) were sung first by Wakana, so of course you’d only contrast Joelle’s singing of those songs).
Technically speaking though, Joelle has more varied skill.
