    I ended up buying this thing for backpacking. I've been up in the mountains by so many great streams and rivers wishing I had a fishing rod, but being glad I didn't haul one in with my other gear because of the size. This should help with that I think

    Still a fun day even with the low water. I use a bass pro 3 piece rod for my travel set up. This is even more compact than mine. Nice. Thanks for sharing.

      These collapsible rods are pretty darn good and a lot easier to travel with in my opinion. Hopefully I’ll be able to whip it out this weekend at the beach if I run into some snook. But looking for big tarpon

      100% recommend one. I'm taking it to the beach this weekend and looking forward to having a compact setup that can still handle snook in the surf.

      @@FloBass is the kingswell setup still holding up?

      Yes still going strong. Lives in the truck and I've been whipping it out when I drive by something that looks juicy.

    i recieve my ordered but not yet test i hope kingswell and kastking make a 3section telescopic rod because 5section is weak for long term use as a traveler man

    Does a jerk bait or crank bait work on this? If so what size/weight?

    do you prefer the kasking blackhawk II or the kingswell telescopic rod?

    • @FloBass
      @FloBass  Рік тому +1

      The kingswell is a lot simpler with out the floating guides. I would grab that rod first. But my blackhawk is a casting rod, so I can't make a fair comparison.

      Pretty good. I keep it in my truck and even with the heat it hasn't given me any trouble.

    You keep losing fish cause your drag is to low.
