    because of the latest spiderman, everytime I see now Michael Keaton I think of him as The Vulture lol

    Keaton was the only good thing in the Flash movie

    Bale > Keaton imo. It may also have to do with the scripts and stories themselves as well. Nolan just did a better all around job which made Bale look better. The same can be said about Heath Ledger. His top notch acting as Joker in the second film raised the bar for everyone else, so everyone else put on their best acting shoes and went to work. I never got that from the first two films. They were working with Jack Nicholson and while I'm not saying Keaton Batman was bad it seems the rest of the cast sans Keaton, mailed it in. As with Kilmer and even Clooney, the movies themselves were the problem. They were going for a different look and feel. It was more comic orientated while Nolan's was more focused on a what if Batman was non fiction. Comics are 99% fiction. So to have a Batman that wasn't cartoony was fresh and new.
