I don’t think your flannel-fans will think that your videos are “tedious to watch”. You make very interesting things and even if one might not think that every item is a masterpiece, you have a very entertaining and quirky way of delivering each video. Most enjoyable to watch.
I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and have been mesmerised by your creativity and style. It's not always my personal style, mind you... but it all looks so lovely and wonderful in your space. I adore your ideas and approach to crafting and the new sideboard looks incredible. Please keep doing what you do - it is a joy to watch and amazingly inspiring!!
I've never clicked on a video so fast. Love your process and loved the final outcome. Looks perfectly organic and aesthetically pleasing in that space. It's going to be a great series.
Saying that I'm HOOKED to your channel would be a huge understatement. Also, I've been making paper maché stuff for years, but thanks to you, I realise I should have taken it to the next level long ago. Thank you for expanding my paper maché horizons!
Love to see another person being so into paper mache! I've been doing it for years but never saw anyone use it for the scale that your doing, happy to be not alone in this :)
I'll be honest - 80% of the video I was dubious. Then I saw the finished project and wow! What an organic looking perfect piece of furniture. You styled it beautifully as well. 😍
I’ve been watching youtube for over 10 years and you are my favorite UA-camr! So glad the algorithm suggested your bathroom redecoration video to me. I’ve been crafting similar things since I was a teenager and I am convinced it’s the best way to make a home your home :) love your art pieces! Please keep the videos coming ❤️
I need to do something with an old lampshade that I have to replace. It is in good condition structurally but it is yellowed and has stains because it is from the 50s or 60s. Did you find anywhere that has good ideas?
I am pleasantly surprised at how cute this table turned out. Well done. It is exactly what you needed/wanted for your space. Good use of what otherwise would have been trash. I like it
I'm amazed by the fact that you made that unit from "scraps"! Got my creative juices going for sure :D so many ideas of what could be done with unused boxes, cardboard and paper mache! 👏
Please continue with many more paper mache projects, this turned out so so good, seriously great job🤗 And you used items we all have or can purchase very inexpensively,I am fascinated by this medium
I am so glad I discovered your channel. While our tastes don't seem to overlap much, I just love watching your videos for your creativity and charming personality!
Well done young Lady, you have a very special way doing things, very inspiring, and showing a passion on your proyects. Lovely unit fullfilling the porpuse. ❤❤❤
i was not expecting it to turn out as good as it did to be honest, the fact that you were able to turn seemingly useless boxes into something so pretty and cohesive looking is so cool! i love your creativeness and patience
Great result and even better because of the recycling aspect. BIG RESPECT for the amount of work that went into it, and also the creativity and functionality . I love how you show the creative process, warts and all. I (as a fellow artist) have always said that it is 5 per cent inspiration and 95 per cent work, work, work!
Im an old lady in New Zealand and just discovered you. I love second hand shops and am always picking up ornaments olf furniture and using them at home. I love your quirky fashion sense. Your house is gorgeous i call it shabby chic although you said you dint want to go that direction ❤❤❤
Getting a new beige flannel video notification makes my day 100000100200070.99x better. I’ve gotten to a point where I have no doubt you will turn out, but you still surprise me about the creative process and changes you make along the way. This piece turned out so so so good, love how you styled it and how it fits the room. It also reminds me of horizontal a cat tower (in the best possible way) And thank you for bringing attention to the current situation in the UK, you are not just the papermache princess, you are also the people’s princess
I just wanted to say that im very happy that youtube showed me your video about your toilet room makeover and that i clicked on it. I really love watching your creative process and results, its really inspiring !
this is the first video of yours I have seen and I loved the in-depth look at your creative and making processes. I haven't touched papier-mâché for ages but now I'm thinking of projects...
I love it! You have such vision and you make it come to life with panache. It doesn’t hurt that you are also a girl after my own heart when it comes to social issues. Now I want to get messy with paper and glue too ❤
Fantastic design and execution, it fits the space so well! I've been hoarding cardboard and packing paper wondering if I can turn it into a plant stand so this came along at just the right time. Not tedious for me at all - I love the inspiration, education, humour and am always moved by your social commentary.
What a great video, you made me want to try papier mâché again so much that thanks to you I will have a more or less successful ceiling light made using your technique in a few days. Thank you so much for your advices!
I love the shape and function of this piece! Personally I think I would have made it a colour, I actually really liked the green in the initial sketch, but it is really cute. I also really like the lamp! The tall, slightly wonky shape reminds me of those tall skinny mushrooms. The frills on the lampshade help make it feel a little wider and balance out the shape more, but I feel like it could look even better with a bigger lamp shade, leaning into the mushroominess even more. Over all this project is such a creative solution to a specific problem, and it turned out absolutely adorable!
Girl you are such joy to listen and you are so inspirirng for me! like in not obvious way, it just motivate myself to do something ceative of my own or decorate my flat or finish some paitings finally. I'm sitting and knitting and watched every single video of yours. Love the artsy vibes as artist myself :) such a great idea for serie - I'm happy we will get videos more frequently :) The console turn out so stunning! such a great project 💚
That was amazing - bloody loved it mun! (both the video and the piece you created) 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 What I also love is the way that, as a maker of art & design based content whose work is only recently gaining a mega-well-deserved leap in viewers, your principles and activism are still made just as (or even more) clear as they were back when your channel was tiny 🧡🤸🏿♂️
That's an impressive transformation! It compares really well to the ones from Anthropologie, or wherever, which no doubt cost hundreds of pounds. This just cost the price of some loo roll, and your own time. Nice :)
Yay, my new favorite YTer posted! I was dubious about this one but I think the result looks great - has spontaneity in the curves and deliberate intent with the way the lamp fits into it. I think a curvier more modern lampshade would add to the effect. I think there’s a type of papier mâché (aka chewed paper) where you make up a big tray of glue solution bath and soak the pieces of paper in it before slapping them on. Could help with the speediness of the process. I hope you’re ventilating well, that’s a lot of glue and paint to be huffing, don’t want that sticking up your lungs. Really enjoying having your videos on while working out my own projects! Do a review of your new art room at some point and how it’s affected your mindset and process. (:
Thank you so much! I would definitely like to try out some different methods for the paper mâché in the future - making a big batch ahead of time definitely sounds like a good solution for large projects like this 🙂
Looks absolutely fab! I think going with a more neutral works really well as it makes each individual decor piece pop. Can't wait to see what you make next!
Amazing! Thank you so much for making these videos, I'm feeling so inspired and energized! I always knew I was sleeping on paper mache and that it would be a good thing to try, but now I feel properly equipped to make lovely things
love your videos and creations!! I learned to paper mache from Art Attack, who advise more like a wide bowl of possibly thinner glue mix, and you dip and finger-squeegee strips of newspaper (wouldn't work for the toilet paper). I think this might save a lot of time relative to the paintbrush method, and also finger-squeegeeing is pretty great.
Great beginning to a series. I had a beautiful slubby green linen cushion cover - my favourite shade of green - but it looked off with my rental grey-blue carpet. I was going to take it to the op shop but a friend who is a good sewer offered to turn it into an over-the-shoulder bag for me to replace one that had worn beyond repair. She used IKEA linen I have had for 15 years as lining, and even repurposed the hidden cushion cover zip closure to make an external zip pocket. It is now a treasured thing whose colour lifts me every time I use it, and much more useful than it ever was as a cushion. I look forward to all your creative re-use. Also, I loved the art piece that hung above the cat picture in your living room before your restyling. Did you make it?
I'm so excited to watch this!!! I haven't paper mache-d since primary school and all your videos inspired me to do it for the first time as an adult. I'm not sure how well it will go but I will be making a box/sculpture thing for a boardgame my flatmate is making. Thanks for such fab vids all the time! Glad to see you're getting your flowers!

Great beginning to a series. I had a beautiful slubby green linen cushion cover - my favourite shade of green - but it looked off with my rental grey-blue carpet.
