Sharp looking bike! You’re the first person I don’t know to get one for his own. Just a matter of time before the aftermarket trick parts catches up. Beautiful bike🏆
Sweet! As a '23 Husky 701 Enduro owner with a Yosh can and Rottweiler mapped PC6, I predict there will be a pair of Termi cans and tuning in your future. Once fully unleashed there will be license endangering long brappy wheelies accompanied by a maniacal grin on your face. Even more so than multi cylinder bikes, massive thumpers have to be stuffed up hard to pass sound regs. Even in stock form I'm sure it runs strong, but no doubt a lot more awaits. That's how my 701 was anyway, it's totally off the hook now. Congrats man, that is bad ass!
@@DucatiDiaries I bought a KTM ENDURO 690R 2020 & going from a Honda XR650L just amazing difference in every way especially with a 74 HP single which Ducati was able to make even more, like 77 all the way to 84 if you add exhaust option, just outstanding technology by these companies & they definitely are the Ferrari to the motorcycle industry, be safe riding, wheelies everywhere of course 👍 lol
Lightweight and agile - perfect for hooliganism! Those supermoto wheels and tall suspension scream playful handling. Get ready for some epic corner shreds and dirt dabble action!
The front looks exactly like an Aprilia Dorsoduro, Ducati made a copy/paste from Aprilia xD Congrats on the bike , I really want to see a good comparison between the 698 and its main competitors, the KTM 690, Husky 701!!
nice to see a real world video. I tried to see if my local big ducati dealer here in France had it, they don't, should be there next week. That and other reasons definitely motivated me to sign up at the moto school for my license. This looks like a visceral machine. A bit sad that the screen on this isn't colour and fancier overall.
Yeah this bike is special for sure. I've been on a lot of motorcycles but this one is the lightest and most nimble I've ridden. It's should be a fun bike.
Thank you. Sorry I missed this comment. I'm 6'1" (1.85m). I think the bike is very tall. I would recommend a Motto Guzzi V7 Corse for you. It's not a supermoto, but that's a great bike and easy to swing a leg over.
Puhhh i think my Tenere has to leave now … because this bike is amazing 🤩…. Miss my Duke 690 but the high RPM on the Ducati Engine …. I made my decision 😂
😂 I'm selling the Streetfighter and trading my Hyper 950 toward the 698 so I can do old man wheelies. 😂 the countdown to spring is here. 44 days and counting!
Actually we were discussing that right before this video. We were talking about just cutting out the cat and keeping the stock cans. But the Termignoni exhaust system will take care of that and look much better :o) I just want to ride this first to make sure I like the bike before spending more.
Have one I'm picking up next week - same model. Come from sportbike background with two V4 liter bikes. Have ridden the 939/950s so hoping this is livery with the light weight and decent 70+ hp
My dealer sent a picture of the bike in the showroom. Called them today and discussed aftermarket bits and think I may head over tomorrow to see it in person before bringing it home later this week. Congrats man!

You seem to be the first consumer world wide to post their delivery of the 698. Congrats man!
Thanks brother. Looking forward to making a lot of content with this bike.
@@DucatiDiaries I'll definitely be watching. I'm interested in this bike, riding a '22 701 supermoto right now but missing a little luxury :P
@@Juuul89 You can never go wrong with a Ducati!
That thing sounds and looks like a souped up 2015 Duke 390.. Look at the spoke design.. Waaow!
The excitement in your voice tells it all, won't be any sleep until this high performance machine is sitting in your own garage she is beautiful!!
Thanks my friend. Btw what state are you from?

I can’t wait until mine arrives in 2 weeks!
Did you get it yet? How is it?
@@DucatiDiaries Picking it up tomorrow. Can’t wait! I’ll have the first 600 miles on it by Sunday.

Oh wow, you're near Hudson Valley. Every now and then I ride up there. Congratulations dude.
I go on rides with a friend who works there. I can let you know when we go out. He usually has at least 10 riders. It's a great time.

Has to be the sexiest bike that has come out in a while. I just need some leg extensions and i can ride it.

What tweaks were you having them do? Been loving these videos!
They had a minor recall on rerouting some wires.
That’s an awesome addition congrats
Thanks. Hopefully will be a fun hooligan bike. :D

seem to be arriving everywhere apart from the UK - we have to wait alot longer 😭
Yeah but at least you guys have a better riding culture. 🙂 We need more riders here in the states.
sweet looking bike !
Thanks my man. Getting closer to the size of the e bike with this one. 😄

my neighbor from Connecticut, Do you miss your Shelby. I traded mine for corvette regret it
Yes I miss it. The sound, the looks, the perfection around corners. Which Corvette did you get?
2019 c7 Z06
beaut !! can , tail kit done !!
Priority!
Did anyone else get a woody when the dry clutch went by?
I thought the rve comes with the exhaust?
Nope. :(
Ma per l Italia c'è il tasto 30km/h?
I will have one soon . Still a little miffed as to the dual exhaust ? Seems silly
I always like dual. Seems more balanced. At least cosmetically. I think the Termignonis will look much better though
Not quite sewing machine, more of an overlocker vibe...
Expensive yet no fuel guage
My $40k Streetfighter has no fuel gauge. 🤣 kinda silly but to have one.
Need a exhaust!
Definitely!
😎👍
Thanks brother Charlie.
🔥
I think I’d upgrade the wheels
You mean carbon fiber?
Absolutely
Or if those are unobtainable OZ
