Boss starts at (3:53)
This is it. Its time for Riku to face Ansem. Unlike Marluxia Ansem is a straight forward fight with just one phase but Ansem is still very tough. His sleights are strong, and sometimes his Guardian will defend him at random times. If that happens you can wait till it goes away or take the time to heal and restock your cards. Watch out for his Dark Shadow Sleight cause its really powerful.
Once Ansem is defeated, Riku's story ends. That's it for Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of memories. I can honestly say that I enjoyed playing this game. It may be different from the other Kingdom Hearts games and the original version for Game Boy Advance was kinda underwhelming but it had fun battles, a good story, and I enjoyed collecting cards and making my own personal deck. Reverse Rebirth was kinda boring but Riku's story more than made up for it. Overall Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories is a solid game and I recommend it if your a Kingdom Hearts fan.
Now if your wondering if I will do Kingdom Hearts 2, then I will say that I plan too but don't expect it for awhile. I've got other projects i'm working on and before I do the sequel I wan't to show the 358/2 days cut-scenes so we know more about the series story. No...it's the road to dawn. I love that line so much and was so happy when his Keyblade in KH2 is called Way to Dawn.
That dark aura ending there, really want to end it cool XD

Haven't played Chain of Memories in years and while watching this I was very shocked to hear Joseph Joestar when Ansem started talking to Riku
Wait I never knew you can switch to the enemy boss cards in battles? It's amazing how I beat this game on proud mode not knowing that😵.

It took me a while to understand why Riku and Mickey remembered Sora, Donald, and Goofy where everyone else forgot them. It's because Namine never touched the memories of Riku and King Mickey, that's why only they remember them when everyone else doesn't.

I wasn't that smart. I'm doing proud mode, LV 75 and I'm not able to defeat him. It's an unfinished business and it's frustrating my gamer heart....

I was in the same situation - then I watched other people beat him, and took notes. Here's the pointers that really helped me:
-Look for openings to use normal attacks.
-Dodge his ultimate attacks; don't counter them.
-Don't attack when he puts up his shield.
-Use the 999 sleight.
Still not defeated. I played the other games and recently KH3 - I'm not missing much the games because I'm a bit disappointed by the story. It's so confusing and what's going on?
