I like the artwork, it's been growing one me more and more. I haven't had the time to do in depth listening yet, but hope to this weekend. It is just great after 50 years to get new "old" material to enjoy. take care
The more you study that cover, the more you see brilliance in it. Sadly that doesn’t come across filming it. It just shows up as plain white. Enjoy your deep dive. I know I’ve really liked it.
@himynameiswaylon I should have tried to apply the summer discount. Not sure if that works with preorders though. But I did get mine through udiscover also. Gotta love that free shipping and earning points.
I think the sound is really a lot better than I expected. I agree that it needs an official video release including the video footage left off the Band on the Run archive set. The Backyard was filmed as well and would make a nice bonus. 👍
I hope the album sells well enough they decide to clean up the film and release a Blu-ray with some nice extras like the backyard. It’s been ages since a nice Macca Blu-ray has been out.
I really like it for the most part. The echo on Maybe I'm Amazed is kind of annoying. The 7" sounds great, as does Soily. The cover is how the 70's graphic design was back in the day.
@BeatleDustino Wings Over America puts me in the arena with Wings on that song. Best McCartney live album, IMO. The Amoeba Gig is a close second, but I understand that some people prefer intimate concerts over stadium concerts.
Good stuff as always....look for a boot called "Wings from the Wings"....a triple lp set in a black box from summer of 1976...this came out right after the tour. I thought the sound quality was far better than the triple lp set that arrived for the holidays...just in the nick of time...lol... AND.....it was pressed on red, white and blue vinyl...I guess for the Bi-centenial. On the Backyard ep, is it the whole band or just him? Now, what muscle car do you drive?!? My last car was a triple black 1999 convertible Mustang GT that was a blast to drive.... automatic too! Enjoy the music as always...
I’ll have to be on the lookout for Wings from the Wings. Fun title. I thought it was odd when they released that colored vinyl edition of Wings Over America a few years back that it was red, green and blue. Not red, white and blue. But I suppose that combo matched the cover better. As for my muscle car. Technically it’s an Australian muscle car. It’s an Impulse Blue on blue 2006 Pontiac GTO. It’s an automatic too, but I love it to death. I’ve been the proud owner since 2011. I always say it’s going to the grave with me.

It sounds amazing now that I've listened afew times.Thank you
You’re welcome. It really does sound great. I’ve really been enjoying it.
Nice review of an excellent album Dustin
Thanks. I’ve really been enjoying it.
Udiscover also sells the album that includes the single...thanks for the video dustino!!
Ordered my copy from uDiscover on release day, which happened to be the last day of their summer sale. Can't beat 30% off and free shipping.
I actually did get mine through udiscover. Free shipping and earn points. I just don’t know if an option like that is available around the world.

Fantastic review
Sounds like you were having a great musical orgasmic experience in the car 🚗 😂
I had a great moment there. Never knew that system could sound that good. My car’s avatar would be 🚙 though. Both my cars actually.
Fantastic Dustin
Physical media forever
Oh yes!

Maybe I’m Amazed puts me in that arena with Paul and Wings. Amazing you can get that sound on record. But I can see not everyone will like it.

@josephfontana7938 that’s what’s great about Macca’s discography. He’s got that superb live stadium album, and a superb live intimate setting album.

@@BeatleDustino I'll have to look up your ride...a down under hot rod!!! There are 2 copies on Discogs for 100 each...
@jeromeluby787 not too many cars built in Australia on American roads. It’s a Pontiac here. But there it’s called a Holden Monaro.
The only complaint is that it's not a gatefold.
The CD has a gatefold
I agree. And the CD is gatefolded!
@brianpgraves yes it does. Shame the LP doesn’t though.
