I recently got your strumming technique book (very useful). With my teacher, I mostly use Juan Martin`s books. Arte de la guitarre and solos vol 1 and vol 2 currently working on his Rumba Nostalgica which you can find on YT. Love your videos, always inspiring.
When I was taking lessons we would get pdfs off the internet and make copies at guitar store. I have been practicing out of The essential Classical Guitar collection they sell at Guitar Center arrangement by Alexander Gluklikh. I really enjoy some of these arrangement. I learned to read music a few years ago studied with some people from Florida State University who where moonlighting at Local guitar center. I enjoy your channel my Flamingo skills are muy poquito. I am interested try to find some of your books. Thank you for sharing.
I like his Bach Double I practice it all the time to improve my reading skills. Also I play his Clair De Lune a lot . I will have to get my daughter to order me some of your books for me .I am old the internet is difficult to me . Your podcast is one of the first I found. I love it. I learned to play Elvis Presley watching your video and getting a pdf. I can't help falling in love I believe. Lots of sharps and flats playing in E.
I havnt seen the other books but the Graf-Martinez books are fantastic. There is another guy name Joonas Wedenius (has a you tube channel) with a new book specifically on playing Compas and it is great...very unique and different than most other books out there. Thought I would just add to your list if thats ok :-)
Hi, I am a beginner and I picked up “Alfred's Teach Yourself to Play Classical Guitar” By Nathaniel Gunod. It seems it’s not very popular book, but having I learned piano through Alfred book. So I felt comfortable picking it. And it seems to be going good so far. Would love ur opinion. I think I’m sure you have not seen this book😀.
Respected teacher! I have a doubt. In the classical/flamenco guitar playing style, there is a method (maybe this is a way of filling) in which we strum using finger p from 6th to 4th string and finger m from 1st to 3rd string, both at the exact same time. Then in continuation, the p moves forward from 4th to 1st string, making it sound kinda double. It is beautiful. What is this technique called as? (Sorry, this is a genuine doubt, the question may sound hilarious but I don't have a teacher)
@@TheSpanishGuitarHub it's alright! Thankyou so much for all the lessons about everything. My favorite one is the Rodrigo y Gabriela strumming technique that u taught. All of this is a great help.😇
