I feel like I have reacquainted with a long last friend. I watched you in year one. I remember you speaking of a guitar that a family member had in your home country. Congratulations on your dedication and determination to become accomplished on your guitar. I am certain there were times when you were first starting out you felt frustrated. But you overcame it. Brava my lady.
yes I started playing the guitar because my dad had one on the top of the wardrobe (it was a steel string first) and he just showed me how to hold it nothing else. But it was a great find.
Edina! I follow you since 2008! I wanted to learn the malagueña and watched your video over and over again! You've mastered the flamenco over the years! congrats!
@TheSpanishGuitarHub I'm not that disciplined unfortunately. But you are certainly leading by example! Have you noticed that the luckiest people are usually the hardest working. Best wishes from Wasaga Beach Canada ⛱️
Excellent!! Very interesting to see progress !! You are so good now !, I know you have The Spanish Guitar hub but put your name on the very first screen on UA-cam of your journey for all to see !!! You deserve it !!!
Thank you for the encouragement, my name is Edina Balczo. Unfortunately it is not possible to edit the video now. But yeah I should have put my name down.
This is an excellent video, Edina! It shows that we all need to do the first steps, acknowledge and admire even our smallest successes as steps up into the right direction and never give up. Or to say it positively: Keep going. Many thanks! It is very inspiring. I just started to study 3 books: Your Strumming Techniques and the 2 books of Graf-Martinez. With a different more than full-time Job I am progressing slowly, but steadily. This video is very supportive. Hálásan köszönöm és üdvözlet Németországból, Jürgen
How much work in your hands? ...fascinating to see your progress in those years, sincere congratulations and my best wishes for greater and new successes every day
What an awesome video, so inspiring Edina! In your first few years, how many hours per week did you roughly spend practicing? I'm a beginner, but try to do 90 mins per day.
Hello Adena, This video is one of the most inspiring to learn Flamence style. How many hours of practice does it take per week to reach this level in 3 years?
Depends on where you start. It took me more than 10 years. But if you want to get there earlier, I say 4-5 hours would get there. But only if you do it with a guitar teacher.
I listened to you since you first started playing. I remember you saying your first guitar came from your uncle ? And was on top of w shelf or refrigerator. Correct me if I’m may Havel some of the details wrong. In all those years your has become more beautiful and as so has you.
Thank you so much! My first guitar came from my dad, and it was on the top of the wardrobe:) It was a steel string guitar first. It got broken because I lent it to a guy and he was mad at me so he broke it. Well I was 18 at the time, but that was my luck because after my dad bought me a nylon string guitar and all this love for flamenco and classical started. Thank for watching my videos all these years, I really appreciate it! x
@TheSpanishGuitarHub You started at 17 and you can play like a full professional! That is amazing, you are truly talented! And your videos help me so much! ❤️
Hi, i m at level first year... I study and work on base techniques. On your video in progress i have seen, that on second year u played full etudes on little speed. When u was a biginner on second year, how u learned etudes and forms how it play? i keep in mind about applicature, you used already created or u create applicature yourself? Thanks for answer:))❤
i remeber when i used to aspire to play the guitar like that but alas i fell and i bought an electric and thought i was jimmy hendrix and then the fateful day i bought a synthesizer and after that i just didnt see any future in guitars but i still love guitars but with me i got sick of just playing same thing over and over and over gain and it just wasnt working for me in the end and i hit a wall musically but then i discovered electronic music but one day i'll get another classical guitar because cant beat a bit of classical guitar exp medieval concertos
@@TheSpanishGuitarHub it is for me unfoprtunately ive invested to much time into osciillators and ADSR and i dont regret it just a different thing but i will always appriecaite good guitar playing

Anyone wanting to learn the essence of flamenco from the flamenco golden age, they should look no further than Rito y Geografía del Cante Flamenco.

90 minutes a day is good, but I think at the beginning I practiced a lot more like 3 but not sure. I had periods for more practice and periods of less

I'm crazy for flamenco. Unluckily there are not many flamenco teachers in my area. P.S: I've noticed that poster of a concert of Rodrigo y Gabriela!
Yes I saw them several times!
Supar 🎸 I like
Can you tell me what is your guitar brand. Thanks 🙏
I play now on CAMPs fl-11-c

What was the age you first started learning guitar Edina??
I started quite late, I was 17.
@TheSpanishGuitarHub You started at 17 and you can play like a full professional! That is amazing, you are truly talented! And your videos help me so much! ❤️
I do not have a Flamenco guitar so i play on my Fender electric guitar. But it works 😂 you are beautiful and so is your talent ❤
Looks like I am going to do the same😂

I was fortunate to study with a flamenco guitar teacher, so thats why I improved so much in a short period of time.
i remeber when i used to aspire to play the guitar like that but alas i fell and i bought an electric and thought i was jimmy hendrix and then the fateful day i bought a synthesizer and after that i just didnt see any future in guitars but i still love guitars but with me i got sick of just playing same thing over and over and over gain and it just wasnt working for me in the end and i hit a wall musically but then i discovered electronic music but one day i'll get another classical guitar because cant beat a bit of classical guitar exp medieval concertos
