I’m so glad I found you! I lost my loved one David in 2020 and had to move out of his house and start completely over. I still need to heal and am working on my self discipline to reach my health and life goals. Finding you is exactly what I need to help me heal and grow. Thank you! ❤
I also liked the Covid pause. I am an introvert and it was sooo nice to have that break. Of course, it was not all great as I am a health care professional and had to work daily. Also, I was blessed of not catching Covid at all. I had 2 loved ones that caught Covid and I had to be in direct contact with both of them. The vaccine is not what saved me. My spouse was not vaccinated and was in contact with the loved ones and didn’t catch it. It’s what happened at the end of the pause that changed me for ever. I made a big life changing decision just recently. The world has changed, no doubt.
Absolutely I have looked at my 25 year career and have left the job for my family., mental health, physical well being, giving my self time to reasess my hole life and where I am at and we're I really want my life ,to look at and starting a hole new process in life .I am slowly getting there and I have no regrets in doing so ,scary but the best thing I have done.
Emotional ,supportive ,informative ,confronting , just wonderfull thank you Mel and everbody else that shares for us to learn from you all thank you so very much
It's really interesting to hear city people talk about the pandemic. I think certain groups lived a completely different reality than others. In rural areas, it was like..that stuff was just happening on the news. No one was closing businesses, wearing masks, or freaking out. It's just really interesting to see how it impacted many, but then didn't impact many others at all.
Mel, you’re so pretty, and extremely knowledgeable! I really appreciate all you’ve done to help improve my life since I’ve been home after my 4 month hospital stay after I nearly died following my MVA back in 2017 when I sustained a severe head injury that lead to my TBI-Traumatic Brain Injury, broken neck (C5) spinal cord injury, and many broken bones that all together caused my stroke ALL WHILE I WAS IN MY LATER 20’s! I’ve been attempting to establish a healthy happy productive life, and trust me when I say it’s been a very trying process, however since I’ve stumbled across your podcast I know you’ve lessened the struggle including filled my head with an extreme amount of knowledge just by following this podcast!Girl when I’m listening to 1 of your knowledge packed videos I feel like I’m chatting with my bestie! I can’t believe how many characteristic traits we share! I love ya girl, and I really think you have found your calling FOR SURE! If you got a dollar for every person you have benefited, you’d be a millionaire!!! XOXO 😘
Thank you so much Mel for this! This video has helped me redirect my life and learn the process of loving myself again. I have always been my own worst critic and judge. I'm finding that I can love myself again and I can have a better more fulfilling life ❤️
When I start to get worked up, I tell myself to STOP. I then ask the question: how does this line of thinking improve my life or solve any issues. This has helped me. I'm putting myself first.
I love all your videos but I have to say I'm so glad you showed us your shoes I live in shoes like those fun high tops I'm I think couldn't walk in heels to save my soul I'm also very creative so wearing what everybody else wears makes me feel weird thank you for giving me permission to dress how I want
Thank you, Mel! You are an inspiration! Especially, when in one of your videos you sat a happy cat on your laps, you got all points from me - I have three cats. Anyway, I am highfiveing myself whenever I look at the mirror, write dien five dreams of mine every morning and get things done. I have not lisstened to this video yet but I will. First, I must get things done. ❤😂
Abandon at 64 there is more in store. She finally found the door . She had her hands full before she left . I'm happy she's gone and so are so many people.
I don't know. I was taken to my supervisor's office with her and a high-ranking chef. They (or mostly the chef) told me that I've been touching my coworkers too much. Not THAT type of touch, of course not! Just casual ones, like on arms or shoulders. I was always very outgoing at work. When I asked her if anyone reported a complaint, she said it didn't matter. She told me that we need the workers to be comfortable in a good work environment, and that I pretty much shouldn't talk about anything other than work and school (I work at a university's catering service). She told me I shouldn't tell my stories because they may be inappropriate to my coworkers. Now yeah, I pretty much don't have a filter, and sometimes I guess I do say "inappropriate" stuff at work, but not horribly nor intentionally. I like to joke around and have fun with my coworkers (and I know they like to have fun with each other too), but I guess it isn't like that after all (more or less). I really didn't get specific information from the chef about what and who. She understands and likes that I'm outgoing, but she made it sound risky and in need of limits, for good behavior and my coworkers' sake. And again, that I shouldn't touch my coworkers (shoulders or arms) without their consent. But seriously, I'm not a creep! I don't randomly hug people or anything like that. I didn't mean to be so "handsy" (I say loosely). I'm so embarrassed about the office lecture. I am not like Careless Schneider at all. I'm really not. Have I really gone that far at work? It shouldn't have gotten to that point. And I expressed this story in other Dan Schneider videos, and a few people have either beaten me up or lectured me. That's why I'm starting to wonder if the office thing really does make me a bad person.
The person who told u off may be a douchebag. Bosses usually are. Sometimes its hard to behave in a way so that bosses wont pick on uu. The boss is prolly jealous of ur outgoing n fun nature n popularity

I'm putting myself first.
I like that. STOP & ask the question…

I also use Eckhart Tolle's teachings:
Be in the moment.
Are you ok right now?
Live in the present.
Put your self first, I find that so very hard to do. 🤷♀️
"Worked up" That's a perfect description 😮
