I have one, would never go back. It’s wipe clean and very durable. Inly needs a quick wash and wipe and fits perfectly inside the matrix aquos carryall. I have the matrix xl side tray and fits perfectly.
I use the MAP 5 tub EVA system which fits with lots of spare room on my XL Preston tray which comes with the fold over canopy. I have looked at the Matrix XL EVA bait tray and might get it as it also will fit on the Preston tray. If Matrix decided to do a Pram hood Tray it would complete the look. Time will tell.
@@MatchfishingTVUK I’m inclined to agree but think I would only be likely to use it on the worst of days? I have a MAP version of what you have, and it’s okay, but again not ideal. Perhaps the ideal solution does not exist. One thing I do wish, on these EVA trays, is that the tubs had lids!
So how does it keep the bait cool in the sun? Also when it rains and you have storm force gales do you have to keep undoing the zips and doing them up again? It's a crazy price to pay when mine only cost one pound,is wind resistant, rain resistant, sun reflective and cool,no zips and complete access! £1!
It doesn't. It's not a cool bag. I use it mainly in the winter to keep the bait and my other bits (camera stuff, phone etc..) dry rather than dragging around a bait brolly or a heavier tray with cover. As the top is clear I can see the phone and how much bait I've got left. You are right, for bait cooling nip down to Aldi or the pound shop and get one of those foiled little picnic type bags for a quid, you can't argue with that!

Matrix have released a cover for their extending side trays.
Have seen that but looks a bit of a faff to be honest. Maybe I'll have a look in the future

The ideal solution is a canopy 25ft in the air over your platform so you can fish normally 😂 maybe someone will develop one ...
@@MatchfishingTVUK They have. Indoor fishing. Check out Jamie Hughes and Andy May fishing.
