- Hooray--500 comics! To celebrate, I've put together this video as a massive tribute to my favorite non-Nintendo video game character, Mega Man! I hope you enjoy, and welcome the newest brawler to the party with open arms.
Special thanks to my wife Sarah for the video editing, and my dad, who provided the live trumpet during the Tornado Man theme!

I still remember that day... I was in first year of highschool. Megaman was my most wanted for Brawl haha
I JUST NOTICED, Crash Bandicoot is the one who takes the fruit during the Mega Man 8 portion. BRILLIANT display of a new gaming icon taking Mega's spot during the PS1 era.
This was a beautiful animation, almost like the history of Megaman of how he was once a famous series on the NES/SNES, how Capcom stopped making his games, then how he disappeared off the Earth for a while, and how he gained recognition in Smash 4 when Nintendo needed him most, making him famous again and never forgotten. I hopefully hope Nintendo does buy Megaman. If they did, they'd make him legendary again. And Nintendo would do *anything* to make their fans happy. So I hope and pray Nintendo will buy Megaman. Its a great series that everyone played back in 1981-2004 and if Nintendo bought it, it would be bigger and better than before because Nintendo knows how to enchance things to make it better.
Sergeant FAGGOT They do. Mario and Zelda are great games with amazing graphics and breathtaking open-world gameplay. And because Nintendo is always making great games, that's why I think they should buy Megaman, so he can be at the "top" again. I just have a feeling that they'll make him even more better, if not just as good, as Capcom did with him.

Andrew The banana overlord Thank you :-) but are you sure Megaman X didn't sell well? I'm sure it did, didn't it? I mean, the reason why the first several Megaman games didn't sell was because of the horrid boxart *(AKA, Bad-boxart Megaman)* and around the second game it started getting better.
Arnold Schwarzenegger I heard he's getting a new animated series. I just hope it's good, like the animated tv shows back in the day when Megaman was "All the Hype"
Arnold Schwarzenegger My brother bought the Megman Collection on his Xbox One. It's really fun and challenging and includes all the classic Megaman games from MM1-6 *(7, 8, and 9 comes as a DLC)* and includes a remix mode where you go through different stages randomly throughout all the Megaman games and you have to get to the end within 8:00 minutes. Me and my brothers have a blast doing it :-D
Cute, I hope Nintendo buys Megaman someday because they seem to know what they're doing with him more than Capcom does.

Ryu: Meh, I miss Marvel vs Capcom 3. All we're doing is charging people $20 for a few extra characters and patches. How's Smash treating you?
Megaman: It's great, I just got my carcasses handed to Mewtwo and now I'm-
Ryu: Wait! Mewtwo!? But he's not on the roster.
Megaman: Mr. Sakurai was forced to release some additional characters via DLC when the fans complained that he and Lucas weren't in the final roster. Now we're pretty much holding a ballot to allow the fans to decide who will be added to the roster.
Ryu: *Glances to the left and right* I need this damn job Rock, Capcom is killing me on the inside. I'm a fighter at heart and after Street Fighter X Tekken my credibility has plummetted after we forced our players to pay for content that was already on the disc.
Megaman: Well it won't be easy since we've been trying to fit Roy into the roster for some time now ever since Konami denied Snake's request to return and Rayman was barely able to make it into Smash as a trophy.
Ryu: *Gives the puppy-eye look to Megaman* I ... NEED this position.
Megaman: ... well ... do you have your resume on hand?
*3 months later*
Roy: Hey guys, I'm finally back! It's been a while and I'm still shocked to see how everyone has changed- *Ryu shoves Roy out of the way*
Ryu: Talk is cheap. Oh and by the way ... I'm joining Smash Bros as a true fighter at heart. Give it your all!
Ken: Oh and I'm also here folks ... but as a trophy.
Wonder-Red: Don't worry, you can join other prominent heroes such as Rayman, Zael, Commander-Video, Mio, Aeron and Captain Rainbow.
Ken: I'll just sit here beside *Ken notices Popo and Nana* ... aren't you guys the Ice Climbers.
Popo: We were.
Nana: But than Sakurai gave us the boot.
Wolf: What's the matter, scared?
Ken: No, I'm just overwhelmed by the prerequisites to get into Smash Bros *Bayonetta, Cloud and Corrin are seen being shown around by Sakurai* and questioning what they even are.
Wonder-Red: Trust me, you're lucky you even made in this game as a trophy *glances over to a window with Shovel Knight, Shante and Banjo intensely glaring at the trophy characters with teary eyes as Rayman closes the blinds* you would not believe how racist Smash Bros fans are to Fire Emblem characters nowadays.

I just love how Nintendo came and picks up characters that might have been forgotten and throw them into the smash. Sonic (Okay, not as forgotten but, SEGA wasn't treating him very nicely were they?) and Mega Man are what I'm talking 'bout.

I've never been a real Mega Man fan, but I love the story that this animation tells. Rock is a gaming legend, and he deserves such a tribute.

Mega Man smiling at the end is what truly sums up the Blue Bomber's inclusion in Smash.
I don't know how to explain why this touches me so deeply.
But I think I'm going to go play some Smash Bros. as Mega Man for a bit.
I was blessed enough to get to play most of the games in the Mega Man, X, Zero, Battle Network, Starforce, and ZX, to see so many fans I have this in common fills my heart up so much.
A small detail I noticed is that when they ran through the boss levels in the montage, they show the order in which bosses you go through for each game
Capcom should sell Megaman to Nintendo, it not like they are doing anything with him.

If you have something you are not going to use and someone else wants it are you going to give it to them, or sell it? If you are a cooperation sell would be the answer.

So if anything, they should buy the whole company, it's got 3 good franchises under its belt (Mega Man, Ace Attorney, and Street fighter. Ever since I was a little kid, I was interested by Mega Man. I loved the child like wonder his adventures brought, and ever since then, he has been my favorite video game character, and easily my favorite video game franchise. Thank you Mega Man, for all of the amazing platforming action you’ve brought us, and hopefully more in the future.
Even all these years later this still brings tears to my eyes. Thank you Matt Taranto, BitF was such an important thing for me growing up.
