Something you didn't mention that I think is worth pointing out is that the "Scorpion" title is a reference to Mortal Kombat's Scorpion. Scorpion in MK is also a warrior clad in gold, with two swords, flame abilities, a ropespear (represented here by the Machine Tribe's hook), and the skull on the helmet is a reference to Scorpion's infamous skull head.
What's also cool is that isn't the only pop culture character referenced by a Captain. You can find Terror archers with human skulls on their chests who have the title of "The Punisher"
A cool thing about the scorpion orcs is that all armor turns gold when on them, even armor they normally can't have, so using cheat engine you can get special gold armor variants of normal armor that you wouldn't see otherwise. So it's not new unique armor pieces, it's some kind of automatic texture change that happens if an orc is called the scorpion. Really cool to see all the different armors in gold using cheat engine though, and adds to the coolness of scorpion orcs.
11:46 actually, you don't have to put that much work into obtaining them. If you break a Defender grunts shield (not completely of course, then he just becomes a warrior) then let him kill you, he will have special dialogue about how you were strong enough to break his shield. Then he will have the Broken Shield title, along with that cool helmet and half-shield once promoted. As far as i know, this will happen every time you do this, so you could have the entire army screen of a region filled with these guys if you wanted

I did the hire glitch to get a pretender for my desolation of Mordor base he's a warlord because yeah he's not the best version but hey at least he'll be a welcome surprise for anyone sieging the base

The Fanged Brothers, I like to call them. As of now, they’re LVL 60+. More interesting things in the replies to this comment.

Also met a Captain named Amug of The White Hand. Met at LVL 20 or around that. Sent him on some missions. Saved his life, he saved mine. Now he’s my personal assassin with Great Strength + Gang of Elite Hunters. Got ambushed by a captain named Garl. Turned out to be a Flame of War. Commander w/ Fire Bombs + Fire Mines? Perfect. He’s now the Overlord in Gorgoroth, ready to ruin anybody’s mood. Met at LVL 47, now LVL 63. That’s all.

One I remember seeing only once was the "The White Hand" orc. They have the same warpaint as the "Unashamed" orc (minus the shame brand) and unique dialog alluding to their service to Saruman. Also shoutout to the "Of The Flies" orc, likely the hardest legendary scar to get in the game as you need to kill an uruk with a morgai fly nest. The guy's body will be half-encased in a fly hive and I think he'll typically have cursed weapons.
I remember an orc killing me and he gave himself the title The Tark Slayer. He gave himself the title because it sounded cool which it does. He also came back to life 3 times.

i have a twin named takra but that was becouse of online sieging, i had another twin bevore takra named grusha i think or grasha its been 5 years, also since i last played it gresha was my first orc i tamed, my first overlord, and my favorite orc, when he became overlord the two warchiefs were snafu deep delver and ugol the unashamed, later when bruz betrayed me, i saved the tree went back and retook my fort, but when i was fighting bruz deep delver killed my twin for some reason, and i was hearthbroken to make things worse deep delver betrayed me later in the game and i shamed him tell he became deranged, then i killed him and i had to kill him again becouse zog revived him, each time i did a online siege and there was a deep delver i went straight to him past the checkpoints to kill them, and in blade of galadrial had a deep delver you had to face in the mission for ar baruk where i noticed he was against shelob, so i made my fort in nurn the first fort and the fort i gave grusha, i made from that fort a shelob themed fort to show my hatred to deep delver, also ugol is still alive and ruling over seragost, i have not played it again and i dont want to loose my orcs i dont know if there is a way to keep my orcs while doing a rerun is garrison a option
4:34 cleaving the pretender and making him a machine will yeild very interesting results if you die to his decoys after that. Best looking uruks in the entire game
I don't think the Scorpion is just once. Just super rare. I had an ogbur the scorpion and I remember another one that I'm super sure I killed or something else killed him. I've seen an ice mountain olog once.

I just started playing this and I got a black paint on a olog and his title is pure blood. Also got a orc with purple paint. There there anyway of making sure they don't die cos I'm only level 19
I got 3 Champions of Gorgoroth 1 on the map and 2 in siege defence and they are all weak. 1 is terrified of fire and the other Graug and the other have plenty of weakness. They are rare don't get me wrong but maybe I'm just unlucky. My brother has a Champion of Gorgorth and he is also weak.
Ive met a Machine myself, in the mission where Zog resurrects all your foes for his army one spawned in, i didnt recognise him as i knew the Machine was an orc you can get for a while i just never encountered one in my game, perhaps it was a random orc they threw in because i didnt fight with enough orcs, either ive fought and recruited them or i just slaughtered them because they werent likeable enough. The other uruks and ologs in the mission i knew em all, most of em were uruks that killed me early on when i was a noob that i killed later on, sadly one of em was a Stitch i newly had, that i wanted to recruit that i hear is pretty rare had cool armour until my bodyguard killed him. Truly was a shame having to end him then.
I am a fan of my broken shield since he has a bag around his head and he sounds crazy as fuck probably because I shamed him a lot but then I recruited him so we’re all good

In my game I ended up getting 2 pretenders who ended up blood brothers and followed me from region to region

The guy HEAD_SHOT_BRXX has Orcs 777 and 0 or 1 vulnerabilities very difficult to recruit then.

i have one, accidentally killed my "of the spiders" though
I never found him hard. Usually, killing the assassin in that one story mission gets me him. The hard one to get is Stormbringer

A while ago on a different save, I got one of the pretender’s decoy to kill me and he became the broken shield

You can use reassignment orders to send them to your garrison for safe keeping
