Fun Fact: Jungle rot actually has it's own special paint...now i'm unsure if it's a lighting thing but my jungle-rot isn't green but has a peach-white color on him, looking like guerrilla warfare paint, my jungle-rot was a dark berserker with poison bombs and epic rage and thick skinned...he was effectivly my Kruk and honestly carried me through SoW

How about the Dwarf Hater? Dude probably has the funniest deranged lines of any orc and his “enraged by dwarfs” is probably one of the best enrages against players.

I know I'm SUPER late but white is actually pretty easy to obtain, as when slave uruks are promoted after killing, they automatically keep their white paint.

I will never forget marksman simply because of Sniper shot. Nothing is scarier than running around or fighting another captain or simply just existing, then hearing that ballista reloading sound and immediately hitting L1 to try and find the source.

‘Of the Black Gate’ to me implies that that’s the place he made himself stand out. At the battle where everyone Talion knew and cared about was slaughtered. Must be a real controversial person to have at your side.

I remember having to fight these really hard group of yellow orcs that I called the yellow team, who consisted of a yellow defender who was the guardian of Mordor, and one who was the drowned a yellow archer, and one other that I remember being the only I managed to actually kill at the time but it was quite weird because they all ambushed me at the same time, in fact I think two of them were blood brothers Edit: I didn't finish the video by when I made this comment but the aforementioned yellow guys were some of the honorable mentions

Honestly captains not going dereanged after being revived would make me care WAAAAY less about my followers lives cause I could always revive them, which I think Is a bad thing.

Arrow, frost, stealth and element proof shielded ones are the worst. U can not gain might and use other attacks, they prevent vaulting, when u start attacking from back they return, when u use glaive, they will block. Only works is wraith but it may not be enough. For wraith and undead focused builds, rhey are ok but the rest nah too painful, more than slayers.

I think the statue in dark tribe is morgoth rather than sauron. It makes sense that it would be Morgoth, because in the Galadrial DLC we met an orc who once served him and are still loyal to him so loyal in fact that he killed uruks thinking they are inferior to him, probably he is one of the original orcs derived from elves, which explained why he is quite friendly with Galadriel, that would make sense why we are able to recruit them too, it's pretty much been confirmed that each tribe had different reasons why they follow talion, the Outlaw tribe orcs follow him because they believe that after the conquered Mordor he will give it back to the orcs as that was the core of their ideology, that they don't serve sauron and pretty much hates him. Maybe the Dark tribe follows Talion, especially dark talion because they see him as a worthy successor to Morgoth more so than sauron. Or maybe that they just see it as a job or work. Like how maybe a Muslim guy can work in a place that is predominantly christian.

If they had fleshed out the gear types, like say more akin to Borderlands level of randomized gears, I feel SoW would be raised to a masterful level of replayability & overall awesomeness. The in place gear system is more than adequate tho - certainly above average & serves the game very well. But if there was a lot more rarity types / levels & possible combinations, and even more-different weapon types, I feel this would seriously aid in furthering the games depth. Otherwise, definitely even more types / variations of orc types / tribes would be sooo great - as well as even furthered variations of artstyle & unique traits. Just the usual area where "more meat / more variation" is all that is needed to vastly improve the experience. Same with more forts / regions, of course. Agreed on the personality & more showing up for our captains. Blood brothers will show up when are enemies as is, so why not when recruited for us? I do feel also that a bit more difficulty / assault on one's own captains / forts would be welcome, for those seeking a much more 'random' or intense experience. In my playing, it seemed like losing my captains / forts was really just up to if I chose to move things that way, rather than the game mechanics / events occuring upon me. This would go great with your thought of controlling the outposts around the map! Keeping the fort assaults tied into a mission having to be started really rips away a "living / moving world" aspect, thus taking away from the potential of random-unique storytelling for each players experience. If a nemesis orc who a player already has rappaport with set out to build forces / team with other captains, then took your fortress / at least tried to assault it, kill your captains, infiltrated with their own spies,etc... this would be MASSIVE aspect for the experience had & stories created within the game world. Really a shame this wasnt crafted & implemented. (and i am not on an easy difficult btw) I love the vastly different environments we get to go to in each region, and the weather system/effects in some really liven it all up... However, as with everything else, would've been cool to see a couple more forts / regions. A region with 2 forts in it would've been neat, a small change to spice it up. Perhaps 2 overlords of them are fighting across this region, offering many different missions & environmental aspects, being more war torn on a more calculated scale. A region of jungle-Swampy area, more lush green / foresty... Theres just so much potential & the foundations in place are fantastic ... Just needed to keep growing the seeds!! Seriously if they had fleshed out / added more meat/variation alone, this game would be "masterpiece" level. More/better mechanics as well definitely, but could even pass those up with whats already presented if the other points were met. The story/lore/missions in already are great, and the gameplay mechanics are mostly all awesome... Just needed increased variations & more meat on the rock-solid bone/foundation, was needed to elevate it to its maximum potential / masterpiece levels. Expanded variablity = further replayability... (I've also never played this game during its "loot box" era, so dont have that to put in my viewings)

Ar-Gul may rival Dugz the Moaner, I found him deranged, branded him, to find out all he screams is, "HYAAAAAH!!" I made him overlord and now he viciously rubs his hands together when you hover over him.

I found the twins before, but they had iron will. They were a war chief so I did a betrayal mission, and I planned on shaming them once they broke, however my orc killed him before I could reach the twins.

@wreckingballblu The follower promo method you’re using also to note can make some mixed tribe guys when involving trickster decoy. Does take a bit of grinding to get some cool ones but it’s pretty straightforward Just die to a trickster’s decoy and he’ll keep some of the previous stuff whilst gaining his own stuff. I did this on a tower trickster and got a vatkeeper Tower looking guy
