I bet the rifle has taken several whitetail. I had the same rifle in .243 got it at Walmart for under $ 250 with Savage rebate. Shot great. I’m sure the rifle has sentimental value since your dad got it for you. Your video shows if a person is the least bit practical, he can get all performance from a Savage Axis that is ever needed .

how long have you had that boyd stock? any issues with it so far? Always been interested in them. Nice vid!

I haven’t had it long enough to say durability wise, I just put the stock on a couple months ago. Only thing is the magazine does seat a little different from how it did in the OEM stock. Hasn’t caused any issues, still stays put and feeds fine. Thanks man!
