You have a pool ish standard bath with volcanic stone around so that your footsools don't bake to the tarmac. Style is very ordinary, price is good, climate is hot (means costly) good for a family vacation in spring and in autumn. Furniture is very lght local pine. Not for me. But I am not a refrerence.

Security bars were the traditional method used in Spain and have become the norm and petty crimes like thefts are extremely low in this area (not zero, but nowhere is!). Many home insurance companies will insist on security bars, and those who do not require them will almost certainly increase their premium substantially if you do not have them, hence why people still have them even with modern security alarm systems being available.

How do houses in drought zones get away with having swimming pools? I know it’s hot and it’s a luxury, but really not the best use of water

The majority of Spanish homes have barred windows, it’s not so much a security feature now more of an architectural style.
