It's only like that bc the "prey" only survival strategy is running away and trying to panic tele. There is no runelite plug-in to tell you how to survive a pker so most people can't handle it.

What should I do if I know someone who has a HUGE rwt operation because reporting his bots dont do anything, they never get banned before he can switch them out, and these bots have bils on them. Nothing ever gets done and it pisses me off.
Ignore it because you can't do anything about it, don't trade any account he touches or associates with to avoid getting rwt banned and move on with your life
This is an issue that will probably never be entirely fixed so just don't sweat it and just ignore it.
Maybe encourage PKers to fight other PKers in the wild instead of the braindead cat and mouse dynamic everyone has hated for the last 10 years. It's impossible to set a good risk reward ratio in the wilderness. Even assuming you never die to PKers the time wasted constantly banking makes it insufferable. If there are too many "PKers" the wildy dies as pvmers fuck off because its not worth the nuisance getting interrupted all the time. If theres a reasonably lower volume of pkers then Pvmers will be willing to go back, but then it gets popular again, floods with pkers, pvmers leave, cycle continues. Why get interrupted every 10 minutes to go bank when you can farm muspah for 7m/hr or do raids?

alching multiple items at once would have been huge for making fountain of rune a bigger high-risk high-reward location to travel to. Though the fact you get infinite teleports to fountain of rune with complete wilderness diaries might have been too busted for any real value to be gotten from it.

All pvm focused beneficial pvp related polls passed, and the only main one affecting pvp builds failed .Typical poll results - ive lost faith in this system

They really should consolidate the attack strength and defence prayers into single prayers for the 3 first tiers of prayer. I can understand not giving pures more power but… 3 prayers for melee combat? It’s completely unnecessary
That to me sounds way better than adding chivalry to pures and I main a 1 def build.
Jagex should just push chivalry as a QoL update. As you said, it’ll barely be noticeable and I doesn’t affect the other player base(mains mostly) They’re always quick to help out the Ironman and yes, it’s a better game mode for some people, as are the restricted builds for others. One click prayer shouldn’t get down voted how it did. But hopefully, they do the right thing and bring it into the game anyways.
With a the increased NPC numbers, it makes a bunch of tasks much less of a pain in the ass to barrage. E.g. rogues, bandits, dark warriors, and ankou are good, but you're spending like 90% of your time doing some fairly elaborate/precise movement to stack them, and not lose their aggro from going too far from their spawn.
I don’t even go in the wildy because it’s pointless for 95% of the game lol. You can raid, boss, quest, skill, literally do everything besides a few bosses and achievements
U can make 4m a hour plus from killing black chin bots on a lvl 46 account get flames of zammy entangle forgotten brew to 89 mage so you can tele block have water surge on auto attack so u can click them befroe they log then flames of zammy them watch the loot fly in just don’t get your hp up too high
The wildy is just another option to get or potentially lose money like the rest of the game unless ur just resource farming. I don't know why people don't want content being added to either it's weird.
People who voted yes to more bandits are morons, if you ever done the talk to the shadow figure in that camp you will understand why. You are constantly attacked by up to 7 rogues and cannot complete the chat with the npc that lasts what seems like 20+ chat boxes. I literally had to drag 6 rogues into the store and trap them to complete it.

look if you are having a fair fight on a zerker or pure, the main style account with higher defense having chivalry is the advantage of leveling defense. There has to be some advantage for doing quests and leveling defense. Adding that scroll removes the advantage of not sitting at the chaos altar/ rev caves and smacking noobs. Just do your quests and play the game.

Really liked the video, I didn't see that far on some points, its cool to learn how deep their impact would've been.
They need to give incentives for Iron men to pk. Then it wouldn't be predator prey in the wilderness.
I somewhat agree but I think the benefit should only come from anti-PKing not just PKing whoever. As for what the incentive should be I am honestly unsure but the devs are smart I'm sure they could come up with something satisfying but not too overpowered or that undermines the typical ironman gear/account progression. I love the idea jagex adding an official Bronzeman mode that way PKers and anti-PKers could have a fun and rewarding restricted account for their play style.
I don't see how it could be done without being exploitable to transfer value to an iron from a main. If I ever decide to get into PKing I'll just de-iron and self-enforce not using the GE.

Theres one huge fuckin improvement they could do with wildy that would annihilate like 80% of the bots at once as well - add a fucking logout timer whenever you're in the wilderness. Just like it is in DMM, doesn't even have to be longer than 2-3 seconds. I've popped multiple veins on my forehead pking when literally 100s of bots and also real players with scripta instalog in 0.000000001 seconds as soon as you come in to their view.
Just lock it behind elite or hard wilderness diary's to not have a logout timer and it'd be completely fine. Yeah some bots here and there could bypass and get the diary but most won't even bother or will get banned before they even do

@King condor I don’t watch your videos often but you have a very based take on the chivalry vote. Would the “no” voters rather it just be deleted from the prayer book? Who even uses it? The damage increase is so negligible and it adds a cool factor to defense pures. People gatekeeping saying “the game shouldn’t cater if you limited your account” are weirdos and gatekeepers who probably the same type to say “back in my day I worked at McDonald’s and paid my way through college while owning my own home, so wages shouldn’t increase.”
The game is changing. The developers see that and want to breathe new life into unused content. I’m so fed up of the new generation soy boys and snowflakes trying to gatekeep others from living and enjoying life and games how they want to. The chivalry change literally would not affect the economy or fun of “no” voters
Please some naysayer give me a LOGICAL well thought out persuasive argument on why chivalry shouldn’t be accessible to people without 65 defense. How is that a threat to the naysayer accounts? How is it ruining the fun of the game for YOU?
I think its fine if its dropped as a scroll but buffing it is power creep that should be avoided.
The point of a pure is that you have more damage output at the same combat bracket. There should therefore be drawbacks to playing a pure. It’s not “catering to a limited account” in the same vein as like negative xp lamps or the option to reject the xp rewards from a Quest, it’s allowing a minmaxed account to ignore its limitations.
“It doesn’t affect you, so why vote no?” is just as stupid as gatekeeping. If they polled a scroll that lets irons use the GE or lets hardcores get a free death, I’d still vote no even though I don’t play those account types. Not because it affects me, but because I care about the game.

The game should absolutely cater to officially-supported restrictions as long as the changes remain in the spirit of the restriction. For example in my opinion irons should have a less repetitive and tedious way to level crafting other than blowing 25k glass. If Jagex polled a new minigame based around crafting, I would most likely be in favour of it. But if Jagex polled being able to simply buy mass amounts of d-hide from a shop I would vote against it because it's basically just porting a GE-based crafting training to an iron.
Not only are pures not an official restriction, but giving them access to a 65 def prayer at 1 or 45 def is absolutely against the spirit of a pure. There are some QOL changes I would vote yes on for pures (e.g. configurable warnings when doing a quest or activity that has the potential to break your pure) but giving them access to things they have explicitly opted out of is not one of them.
Also, unlike ironman, being a pure is not a restriction that is primarily played for its own sake - it's a means to an end. Ironmen enjoy not having access to the GE. But most pures do not enjoy having

The imbued cape reclaimable fee 250k is too low I think, ppl usually use parchments which cost around 1,2m. I think the fee should be 1,5m or 2m per cape, the imbued cape is a strong tool and should remain that a parchment would be cheaper than a direct reclaim from Perdu.
You gotta be high to think that. Who are you friends with that is trouver parchmenting imbued capes? Its so easy to collect them manually, its just a bit tedious. I reckon I can get 5-6 capes in 1hr. If you make them cost 1m each I would have to be stupid to pay that. 250k is just the right price where its worth paying for the convenience of not getting them manually. Any more expensive and its not worth it. People trouver void, infernals, defenders, but never seen someone waste a parchment on a fucking imbued cape lol. Its too easy to reobtain, you gotta be some kinda special to waste parchments like that. 😂

Go to PvP worlds and fight other PvPers or fuck off. Stop putting PvM or Skilling in the wild. Especially lower lvl PvP builds that limit themselves. The say irons choose to limit themselves, then likewise live with your decisions.
That is a terrible take. The general premise of the Wildy is high risk high reward. Whether thats xp, gp, pets or uniques. If skills like hunter, agility and prayer were locked behind the Wildy I'd completely agree but that's just not the case.

Awful take. Pures are by nature a PVP account, whether or not they're allowed to have Chivalry is not only relevant to them but to anyone who might end up in combat with one in the wildy. This is not like mains voting down ironman-focused changes despite them having no effect on their own gameplay. Of course pures are going to vote yes for anything that removes the downsides of being a pure, but the people who actually levelled their skills have every right to object to pures having access to it without doing so. And low level players have every right to object to pures having access to a powerful prayer without having to increase their combat level to do so.

I main a 1 def pure and could care less if it passes. Restricted builds for a reason to make it more of a challenge. Instead of doing the chivalry a cool way to buff it I suppose would be to make an all 3 in one prayer without it being altered.

Here’s a novel concept. Buff pvm defenses like the bulwark requiring pvp players to risk more to kill loot piñatas.
Result less pvm players die so more pvm players enter the wilderness. This means more pvp players looking for easy loot but it’s not viable without better gear. Meaning more pvp players will come to kill pvp and pvm players.
Short term good. Long term it will still die because mid/bad pvp players will get upset they have to risk more and also lose more leading to majority of pvp players getting upset.
Simple fact is people don’t want fair pvp fights they want easy loot for easy dopamine hits. People rather feel good vs be good.
So buff the bulwark back to what it was on release so bots can farm gold more easily? Good idea bro. Let’s revert black d hide back to its former glory too that way we can make it even harder to catch a freeze or TB on them. 90% of rev cave players are bots and your solution only further compounds the issue. Try again.

You could easily say it makes freezing harder but instead we add a tele tab that promps a random person with a scroll of pvp on that allows them to instantly tp and fight in your place. Their win or loss determines if you die or live. This would force all PvP players into a PvP fight well offering more risk reward. It would also make it to where people didn’t have to run all around looking for the fight you would get put right into the action

I'll always vote against buffs for pures. The level ranges in the wildy are intended to protect low level players from much more powerful accounts that would be impossible for them to defend or fight against. Pures undermine that system. I'm all in favour of players finding loopholes to subvert the dev's intentions, that's cool. But Jagex actively encouraging this playstyle, and granting them abilities they didn't earn by achieving the proper skill levels? That's a hard no from me dawg

Honestly regarding pure pk’ing. Accurately getting all the clicks for all prayers is just another skill thing. Someone good at clicking will get them more than someone not good at it meaning someone with more skill has better chances of winning I guess. So really only will effect the pk’ers that aren’t great at pk’ing

Honestly I think there are a lot bad takes in this comment section from both sides on this issue. The wilderness is a great risk vs reward area in runescape and I think if you take that away OSRS loses one of its greater locations. It is optional but I do think it would nice if there were more ways for PvMers to either escape or have certain buffs depending on various conditions. I think there especially should more incentives for Ironmen to anti-PK in the wildy because at the moment there truly no beneficial reason irons to engage in that style of play inside of the game.
To me what this shows is that players are always going vote in the polls selfishly. I think we all are guilty of that and think its time to trust the devs and get rid of polling. Now I do think players should be involved at design stage to give their input into content being developed. I think that we as the players don't always vote with what is good for the game and honestly I think the OSRS devs have shown that care about the integrity of the game. Sure they don't always get it right immediately but they have shown a willingness to make changes when necessary. I think too many are still holding on to a resentment caused by Jagex in past and I think maybe it time to let it go and trust that the devs aren't going to ruin the game without the player base gatekeeping the changes made to the game.

I dont pvp but i think it should be something big in the game. People just need to learn to tank and survive. Dont let OSRS end up like RS3 which has legitimately 0 pvp. I love doing wildy slayer and bossing because it adds an additional rush to the game. If you dont want to be pkd then dont go in the wild.

The people going mostly are not intressted in pvp. By design fighting back, for most of the activities, is disincentivised. These player will vote agains making pking easier.
@@LowValueMan No pvm shit gets passed cause everybody benefits, that is not true for pvp. Pvp stuff does get passed, cause jagex incentivises non pker to go to wilderness. Jagex disincentivises fighting back, so people vote no on making one of the most toxic builds to play agains any better.
Pvp just needs to be removed or opt-in at this point. If they want the wilderness to still be risky and dangerous, do it through other in game mechanics or mobs. Little Timmy who RWTs and AHKs doesn't deserve any updates catered towards him, and he certainly doesn't deserve any loot from the people he kills. PKer's have such a massive fucking advantage in this game. They can claim that they "risk" a lot since they are skulled, but in reality nothing of theirs is at risk. If you lose a surprise ambush that YOU scouted/picked and have an overwhelming advantage in, you deserve to lose everything.

You can disagree all you want but the fact is the wilderness used to be packed…in every single world, in single and in multi zones.
Back then people had a sack of nuts and weren’t such soy boys. It was frowned upon to pray 1v1, to safe, to rush, to spec/tab, to be toxic, to be an over all d bag.
Nowadays all of that stuff is the norm, and the wilderness is almost completely dead.
