I have never understood why people who review cars, boats, planes etc, bang on about certain aspects that have nothing to do with the car. This is a 'sports car' it is not designed to take your family on holiday, load a three piece settee into the boot or store all your scratched cd's in a glove box, it's about the looks and drive, anything else is a plus not a negative.
Some things like sound systems and trunk space are very important to some people who need/want it, but love the style of the car and the way it drives. So if the reviewers never mention the downsides, they are not reviewing the car properly. A good review/critique needs some criticism where it is needed so the viewers know exactly what they are getting out of the vehicle.
Koby Harrison it's a sports car not a sedan. Is a Lamborghini practical? Hell no. But it's still a great exotic supercar. Sports cars aren't made to be practical. They are made to be sports cars. Not made for practicality. Or luggage, or the family, or snowy weather etc. It's for performance

Clarkson was wrong. Granted he did drive a pre production model with different tuning but I still can’t believe how badly he trashed this car on its initial review. Antonio Conte No I’ve had to deal with some maintenance in my current car. Almost have enough money for this baby thought. Looks more like 2-3 more months after my Fall quarter.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Tiff Needull thought a two door Nissan Maxima made a great sportscar. It's odd though because he does know how to drive, but he seems to pick the dullest vehicles as good (He also thought the mk3 mr2 was the best one.)
@No Simpin' My opinion on the mk3 mr2 has since softened - with a good set of tyres on and a 2zz-ge engine swap, they can leave the sw20s for dust in the twisties! I was being a bit harsh on the 350z. I should have said two door skyline really. - same VQ engine and rwd configuration. I test drove a couple 350z's, and quick enough but just felt a bit too heavy, + not a v6 fan.
@No Simpin' oh true? I actually recently owned a 350gt Skyline sedan 2007 model with the VQ35HR i think; and I was quite surprised it could be revved to 7500rpm or so, despite being an auto. I didnt realise there was an engine variation in-between the two. But the Skyline wasnt a car that really liked being driven aggressively. I have been told that with some minor modifications, 350s can come alive. Maybe i'll get to have a go in one some day.
@No Simpin' Ah yep, i'm in NZ, so its a Japanese import and called a Skyline instead, but fundamentally the same as the G35. Manuals are virtually non-existent from Japan, which is a shame. I ended up replacing it with an m135i, because I wanted a straight six. Also auto, but with the 8 speed that seems to work pretty well.
The cringe of watching him slam those doors..... those poor windows 😫 As a 350z Fairlady owner I dont think we Z owners quite grasp sometimes 100% how soft our doors really are and how much we dont need to slam them... like most of our passengers will. Have had to replace my passenger side door latch 3 times and the inner door handle twice from people not realizing it is a well made car even for being a 2003 the doors still shut as softly as they did 14 years ago.
MagicAyrtonforever Fair enough. I have seen the 370Z interior, and it looks like an improvement as well, but I prefer the 350Z so would probably go for a later model 350 :)
jordanclarkson2010 I would recommend it.. I have a December 2007 350Z but had a 370Z Auto before that and a Japanese 2002 import before that so I have the experience behind me. I would say the late 350Z manual is the best one of all and there are many tuning goodies out there for them.. half the price of a similar condition/mileage/performance Porsche Cayman too. Can't be bad. Mine had 15,000 miles on it when I bought it. Interior is still lovely at 20,000 miles.
MagicAyrtonforever Wow that's awesome!! I would definitely consider one if I had that sort of money, I agree about the 2007 ones, and it would have to be a manual. And yeah I would take a 350Z over a Cayman, for Cayman money you could get a 911 996.
Well now that Top Gear's gone, I guess this'll do :/ I never liked the 350z or 370z. It looks absolutely hideous. Maybe because it reminds me of Fast and Furious and NFS Underground.

When I got my z33 it had 90k miles I drove it 20k miles in a year and never had one warning light. The car is so fun to drive and I’m not planning on selling it. I don’t want it give it to some kid who will slam it to the ground and run it into a pole 😂
Yeah I'm 18 and will be getting one in the next few months. SO pumped that my hand work is actually paying off.
Tierman Beats did you get it?
Antonio Conte No I’ve had to deal with some maintenance in my current car. Almost have enough money for this baby thought. Looks more like 2-3 more months after my Fall quarter.
@@elzed0112update. I’ve had a Z for 4 years now and I love it.
hands down 240Z best Z ever !
Oh my god it's so beautiful
@No Simpin' I still wouldn't mind giving the revised 'rev up' 350z a go. as the ones I tried were early models.
Song?
The cringe of watching him slam those doors..... those poor windows 😫 As a 350z Fairlady owner I dont think we Z owners quite grasp sometimes 100% how soft our doors really are and how much we dont need to slam them... like most of our passengers will. Have had to replace my passenger side door latch 3 times and the inner door handle twice from people not realizing it is a well made car even for being a 2003 the doors still shut as softly as they did 14 years ago.
Stunning and the best looking Z ever..things that aren’t said about the 370z.. lol..
Lol “zed” that’s how us Jamaicans say it also
i like 350Z
I'm a huge fan of Top Gear magazine but NOT the TV show. The only thing good about that show is Hammond. I watch Fifth Gear all the way!
that host is pretty shifty looking.
Better looking than a Skyline and a Z32 300zx? Ok Tiff, they must have paid you a lot to say that.
This looks the best with a convertible
3:31 that is my car
It's called the 3shtty z in America
Looks terrible.Only thing that looks ok is the roof line because they copied the 911.. Should make a 240Z. That is a great car that looks great too !
I wouldn't be surprised if they revisit the 240 design one day
lol
why does he keep saying zig?
Zed* that's the euro way of saying 'Z'
Love the 350Z, the interior is the only thing that lets it down, but a great car otherwise
They upgraded it in 2007... it's just got better and better since.
And yeah I would take a 350Z over a Cayman, for Cayman money you could get a 911 996.
jordanclarkson2010 The 996 is awful imo and not as good as a decent Zed, they suffered IMS Bearing failure too and parts are megabucks.
Looks like Fifth Gear is the new Top Gear
Good bye Top Gear this is all because of the stupid BBC .
Yeah. At least fifth gear is somewhat entertaining
I think a lot of Top Gear ending had to do with Jeremy Clarkson acting like he was untouchable and overstepping the line one time to many.
stupid BBC I hate them
Yeah and absolutely nothing to do with Clarkson assaulting fellow workers then? He is an idiot and a terrible, terrible car reviewer.
+MrAnthropophagy and yet the best in the world
Like always Tiff is right and Clarkson wrong...
This had a cassette player wtf most of you kids dont even know what that is
Whoa, whoa, gentle with those ‘flimsy’ pieces.
They will last a lifetime if you do go at them like a primate. Geez.
Haha, um no. Very careful with mine in that same part broke at the hinge.
This is a BLAST.....once again not said about the 370..haha
Why?
Well now that Top Gear's gone, I guess this'll do :/
I never liked the 350z or 370z. It looks absolutely hideous. Maybe because it reminds me of Fast and Furious and NFS Underground.
and atrocious build quality .Also lazy below 4,000 rpm
@@johngerritsen908 try a turbo z and it has torque all the way through and with a tomei exhaust the sound is beautiful for the price they really are good quality , i mean what other cars come with rays wheels and brembo brake calipers stock for less than £5000 my sisters mini cooper cost twice that
The most beautiful car Nissan has produced
Best looking Nissan ever??? Hell no. It looks great but there are way better nissans
Best looking z car to date. 370 sucked. Waiting for the new one!
Even this n***** is Prada
Wtf is a niss. An?
Sorry.
Neeesannnnn
