I LOVE mine, I'm 5'4" and its the perfect size for me. I put some foot pegs for the back and pick up my 7 year old from school everyday, she loves it, round trip is 4 miles so perfect for this bike. No traffic, no parking. Of note under the seat you need to put some double sided tape under the controller as its just loose in there. Just one philip screw underneath, and seat slides back and pops off. Also there is a spare 12v hook up from the controller, I used it for a rear led tail light to replace the reflector.
My favorite part of owning this bike over the past 5 months is how incredibly silent it is and the great range. I was able to ride 34 miles (51km) on a single charge using throttle only and some peddling. It's a shockingly powerful bike for the size with enough power to throw you off the seat is you're not ready, lol.
@@laidbackintellectual I'm a light rider at 125 pounds so I'm able to get 28-30 miles using only electric. If you weigh more and only hold full throttle it's closer to 18 miles

I liked your clip on the engwe t14, however did you notice on your bike just like I did, that there was about 3 inches of tubing, that's part of the seat tube that sticks out below the bike. If you drop off a highish kerb, you're going to know about it. I cut mine off straight away, plus you look at any advertising photos of the bike it's not there..I bought one a couple of weeks ago, my pedal assist wasn't working, which after a couple of nights head scratching I figured out, the sensor wasn't lining up with the magnets on the back of the crank, a slight adjustment got it working. This bike is so much fun to ride, I've ridden mountain bikes since they were invented but this is a whole new way of bike riding, takes some getting used to, so proceed with caution..I popped my first unintentional wheely today, shit myself and surprised myself, landed it ok, so all good. This bike is so much fun I love the design....
@@charlespeter9119 if you mean the pedal assist, then you basically have to bend the plate that the sensor is attached to, so that the centre of the sensor is lined up with the centre of the magnets attached to a small plastic plate on the crank...I hope this helps...
Thanks for such a helpful review. If you still have styrofoam marks on the seat, try rubbing them with a little WD40 and a microfibre cloth. It does a wonderful job of removing most stubborn marks. :)
Nice review. Excellent micro-e-bike for excellent price. But there is one BIG disadvantage. WEIGHT. It have 31 kilograms, which is no-go for people over 50 or people with back pain or spine health issues. Most of 16" folding micro-bikes have approx. 22kg (smaller battery, worse suspension), i have seen one which has even 16kg. Common 20" e-bike has 21-23kg. If you use it in public transportation, weight is issue too. Or if you have to lift it into train. ps: In my country is not allowed to take classic bike into bus, only into municipal buses and trams in inner city. So i can't take there my 26" full suspension non-electric bike which weight only 13kg :-(
I bought this bike to commute from my tesla model 3 to my house and back. I leave my tesla over night at the charging stations and had been walking up to this point but it is actually a decent walk up a steep hill . I am tired of it. But the bike should fit nicely on the back seat with out folding. My dualtron storm fits on the back seat but it is too big and heavy to do it frequently. I needed a folding bike. This is likely a good purchase.
