Yesterday I did the same thing but I advise everybody to buy the Pentium Silver version you not only get FullHD screen but also a NVme m.2 drive with 1,6 GB/s.Amazing.

If you are a heavy tech consumer I don't recommend but if you are a light user it get the job done. (good for parents or kids who are not very tech savvy)
Issues observed
Poor sound quality (Dont know why suddenly the sound quality decreased drastically)
Poor display quality (brightness levels and viewing angles)
Low storage(this is not a big issue if you use an external drive)
some times get bit laggy while watching videos on youtube
There are good chrome books on the market I thing better to check on those options or a Tablets

It is not slow. I migrated from Pentium 4415U and in tests this cpu has almost the same results and 4415U was faster than core i3 7100U, Only disadvantage is only single channel memory which cant be upgraded because its soldered onboard. Best choice is to buy Ideapad 1 with Pentium Silver N5030, then you will get faster turbo up to 3,1GHz, tiny bit faster GPU 750 MHz compared to 700i in celeron version but the biggest advantage is NVme slot on board so you can upgrade your hardrive with bigger one. Also you get a fullHD screen.

With the AMD version...yes
I have it with Pentium Siver (only a bit faster turbo) and you can play Asphalt 9 without lag in FullHD. FEAR3. RE5.Borderlands on lower deatils. But be prepared that it will produce a lot of heat. Notebook has not fan.

yes you can
if you are using IDE like vs code but I don’t recommend if you are using visual studio or IntelliJ idea because they need lot of power
I recommend install linux on it linux run well on this laptop

This laptop is good for only low power consuming tasks such as internet browsing, watch movies, etc...
