Where do I begin to tell you what an awesome job you did on this bike. I see that you also changed the rear spring location which gives it a cleaner look. And it looks like it is very substantial to do the job. It is truly one of a kind which I like. Some Valkyrie owners may not like what you have done, but it reminds me of what some guys are doing with the old Goldwing GL1000 and GL1100 bikes. You should be very proud. It's good to see that re-engineering of an amazing bike is still taking place. Nicely done.
First of all, I do have to say that your quality of work is fantastic. Aside from that, from one Valkyrie owner to another, you have just destroyed one of the best muscle cruisers that there ever was. It hurt me to watch this video.
Maby you ar right this bike is an ikon on the otherside there ar 10000 of them left in original and i think it was fun too build a caferacer on that heavy bike and change it totaly i hawe build a new body for it and i hawe also destroyed a coupel of goldwing you can see it on my Chanel Tjuståsa Racing on youtube

As you said some like it some hate it but it dont live anyone unaffected Anyway tank you verk much glad you like the bike mean a lot that you let me know
Any chance you still around. I am planning a gl1500 conversion. The one sticking point for me is I don’t like the steering of this rake angle. Were you able to change that.
@@tjustasaracing8590 Actually you helped oddly. The motorcycle was my fathers and it’s been sitting in my garage since he past. Looking at your bike I realized he had lowered the rear for a lower seat height. He was 5’8” ish. I think raising the rear will improve the rake enough for me to ride. Just got the garaged cleaned out so I could start breaking the bike down.
Great job!!!, congrats!!, question: is the gas tank made of fiberglass?, how is it holding?, mine started to leak after 6 months, rebuild it and coated with a tank sealer, it last a bit more but start to bubble up, so I give up on fiberglass and building out of steel now
Carlos Google Maps hello i use 6 lager of fiberglass then on top epoxi from Restor my latest build i use stainless steel and fiberglass as bodywork look for Tjuståsa Racing
Although an awesome job no way is it more pleasing than 0:12 its later state looks less muscle than its before. To say I cried would an understatement...the wheel updates are nice but that all. the rest looks like a bike that was salvage with only the engine survived the crash. Great job on the wrong bike
oi alot of time gone into that love it good workmanship wen i see that rear fender all white i thouth oh no but with chrome strip on looks great you have made great bike yer getting 10 out of 10 from me if yer dont mind me saying chrome them rear springs love it..
80-82 had Comstock-type rims. '83 had the real, straight-spoke mag rims (much, much nicer looking). All were 1100cc's. In '84 they revamped the bike (completely) and went to a 1200 with hydraulic lifters. A better bike, but probably best left stock. the 1000's and the 1100's seemed to be the most widely modified.
My man you didn't just hit a home run,you KNOCKED it completely out of the park. That bike is absolutely stunning. CONGRATULATIONS [That's a work of art] enjoy.!!!
After all that, I have to ask, was it really worth it? For a Valkyrie, that thing was beautiful _before_ the makeover. At _best_ this was a sideways move. And you have to have noticed that it wasn't possible to get a plum-line through the rear fender, I suspect due to the differential offset. That (among many, many other things) would have precluded me from even considering this project. _Exceedingly_ nice work but... 🤔
Great you spent a ton of money, destroyed a nice bike , and you have something that will be eaten alive by the first 600cc sportbike that comes along. I love a nice "cafe" but a valk is not the place to start. Sorry
Hello i look at your homepage and there is lot of nice bike but that is a whole different thing of what i am doning i try too build a motorcykel so far from original as possible when im finish there is only one of that bike in the world not 100000 exakt like it some like it some hate in i dont like the style of the bike myself so i build a whole new body for it you can look at it whit the rest of the bike i build on Tjuståsa Racing probably you dont like non of them
It's a fabulous build, but I'm going to be a bit nitpicky here, so bear with me. It's not a cafè in the real sense. For that it would need to have rear-sets and clip ons. And I do think it would have looked even more awesome with those two things added, and it would have been a real cafè.
